in Kpop groups, there is always a voice that touches you even if there are other main vocalists in them. In EXO, D.O. does it for me, he may not hit very high notes like Baekhyun and Chen but his voice has a calming effect that soothes your heart like a warming or cooling balm. And I love how you stressed that this song is so hard & advanced cos I think alot of ppl understated the insane amt of skills involved & when D.O. did it live, if his condition wasn't the best, it really showed cos this required an insane amt of control. "Range is juz a part of it" SAY IT LOUDER~ I think perf wise, belting is always the easiest way to impress, but otherwise, it's only one part of the many skills involved in singing. Why are there dislikes grrrr >.< haha. I have to say this, D.O. inspires a LOT of protective instincts from fans. He's my favorite member, but I also sometimes get surprised with how strong the sentiment is towards him. I never ever heard anyone say that D.O. isn't as good as Chen or Baekhyun. Never. Maybe I just stay away from problematic people. But even if I didn't, I'd never ever believe that because I have ears of my own. D.O.'s agility is his strength plus D.O. does his notes so effortlessly and his voice is always a foundation of EXO songs (because of the R&B base). I think fans get up in arms over this because he doesn't do a lot of solo singing stuff. So his singing doesn't get enough of the deserved attention. He's a very good actor, I can say that without bias, and that's been his concentration for a few years now when he is not promoting with EXO. There's a lot of Korean reactors and when they react to EXO songs and see D.O. the most commonly mentioned phrase has to be "DO KYUNGSOO BAEWOO-NIM" which basically translates to Actor Do Kyungsoo (his real name), said with the -nim as a show of respect. And non EXO fans relate to him the most in these vids because they have a soft spot for him through his acting.

Yoo Youngjin is said to be D.O. voice coach. According to voice expects D.O. is the 2nd consistent mix in Exo and the RnB prince of 3rd Gen Kpop. He id known for his agility. Yes most of the time he is not acknowledge cause he doesn't hit insanely high notes like Baekhyun and Chen,but come on! He complete the trinity of Exo! His lows, runs and adlibs makes their songs extra beautiful. And yes D.O. can also belts and hits high notes but that's baek's and chen's. Remember when D.O. says that he is more comfortable in singing with Chen because he and Baek's are similar in range. So if he want to he can hit high notes also but he is in charge of the runs and adlibs that mind you is not an easy part. So thank you so much for appreciating D.O.'s beautiful voice. Our RnB prince.

Why are there dislikes grrrr >.< haha. I have to say this, D.O. inspires a LOT of protective instincts from fans. He's my favorite member, but I also sometimes get surprised with how strong the sentiment is towards him. I never ever heard anyone say that D.O. isn't as good as Chen or Baekhyun. Never. Maybe I just stay away from problematic people. But even if I didn't, I'd never ever believe that because I have ears of my own. D.O.'s agility is his strength plus D.O. does his notes so effortlessly and his voice is always a foundation of EXO songs (because of the R&B base). I think fans get up in arms over this because he doesn't do a lot of solo singing stuff. So his singing doesn't get enough of the deserved attention. He's a very good actor, I can say that without bias, and that's been his concentration for a few years now when he is not promoting with EXO. There's a lot of Korean reactors and when they react to EXO songs and see D.O. the most commonly mentioned phrase has to be "DO KYUNGSOO BAEWOO-NIM" which basically translates to Actor Do Kyungsoo (his real name), said with the -nim as a show of respect. And non EXO fans relate to him the most in these vids because they have a soft spot for him through his acting.
