After looking at the manual and spending 3 HOURS on a call with Panasonic (so-called) tech support, they still could not unpair my cell from the base phone unit. My cell kept showing the popup message "Cannot connect with Panasonic DECT", over and over and over! Covering up my screen with this popup message. Panasonic even remotely reset my phone, resetting all my apps and network connections to basically nothing and then hanging up as though the problem was fixed. I finally found your website post. Watched it, and was able to unpair my cell with the base unit. Thank you, Alex!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't tell you how frustrated I was. You are "dah man, man!"
Thank you so much for making this video! I was having a hard time trying to figure out how to disconnect the Bluetooth because it kept asking phone to pair with it and I did not want that. Your video really helped me !
Thank you for the helpful video! I have a question, though. I had my house phone plugged into a Magic Jack box, but now that I know how to pair it to my cell phone, I don't need Magic Jack, anymore. So in this case, where do I plug in the telephone cord?? Thanks!
Your welcome! I am happy that this video was helpful to you! Do you know if you have a place where you can plug in your phone line? You can plug it into a phone line (I recommend this if you are paying for your phone line service) if you are not, then you do not need to have your phone connected to a phone line cable. Did this help? If this did not, please let me know!
@@alextorres3282 thank you so much for the quick reply. I experimented a little, and found if I unplug the telephone cord and leave it unplugged, it still works! Amazing! I think I just didn't do it right on the first try. You were a BIG HELP! Thank you SO MUCH!!
Muchisimas gracias.llevo una semana intentado borrar mis celulares antiguos averiados, para registrar mi nuevo modelo, y era imposible, muchisimas gracias
Yeah, watched your video, but I can't get my cell phone to connect with the base or the handset. Bluetooth is on, both cell phone and handset. Have reached out to others, but they want to charge me for helping me. Have been working on this problem for 2 days. Read the manual word for word but no help. I can't even get to the "pin option". Just says "Cellphone pairing" and just stays there.
Hi! I haven’t seen anything like this. My recommendation is to forget the Panasonic base unit from your mobile device. For example, forgetting the base unit on your cell phone. If you have the option, select “cell 2” or “cell 1,” depending on which slot you’re trying to connect. On the home phone to pair your device again. Forgetting your phone on the base unit would also help. If this doesn’t work, you can unplug power to your home phone and turn your mobile device completely off and wait a minute or two before turning both back on, then try to connect again. Let know if this works!
When you attempted to connect, did your phone say “connected” or “connected successfully”? If it did, then the Panasonic base got stuck during set up. You can try unplugging the base and wait for at least 30 seconds before plugging it in again. Sometimes this helps.

I am not able to pair my panasonic phone with my cell phone. The base unit seems to be stuck in the pairing mode.
