    Saurabh ji i just completed Vietnam tour, I covered hanoi and sapa. Tour was good, hanoi was hot but sapa was cool and enjoyable. And one problem mainly faced was vegetarian food.. But guys we did managed to find tasty indian food served at 2 restaurants in sapa which were opened recently one is Bollywood spice it's near to kk hotel sapa and other one is ganesh sapa restaurant (its old) both served tasty indian food. But bollywood spice offered us free water which is very rare in Vietnam. Hanoi does have lots of indian restaurants.

      @@raghuveersengar I don’t know if the question is for me but yes, better carry USD and only USD 100 new notes. Don’t carry USD 20 denomination as the you get lower exchange value. I just returned from Vietnam in January. I carried 1000 USD and wherever I needed, I just walked into any Jewellery store and exchanged 300 USD each time whenever I needed. For anywhere where they accept card, directly use your Indian credit card. Better than withdrawing from ATM there. Just activate international transactions on your credit debit card via NetBanking or mobile app and you are good to go.

    Hi,
    I’m planning a trip to Vietnam in the next few weeks and have a question about the e-visa process. It'll be me, my wife, and our 2-year-old daughter traveling.
    Do I need to apply for three separate e-visas for each of us, or can my daughter be added to either mine or my wife’s e-visa? I’ve tried looking up information on RUclips, but it hasn’t been very helpful.
    If anyone has recently traveled to Vietnam with kids, I’d really appreciate your insights.

      IDP (INTERNATIONAL DRIVING PERMIT) is mandatory... IDP is required to drive in any country in the world except your own country. Sometimes in some countries the local authorities may not ask about this. But take an IDP to be careful yourself. If for any reason there is an accident, a lot of trouble will increase. In addition, in some countries, violating traffic laws can result in jail and fines.

    Hey Saurab
    Out of Bali and Vietnam , which country you will suggest to visit during the last 2 weeks of December.

      Considering the rainfall in Bali in December, I would advise Vietnam

    @wandering monk thank you so much for the wonderful guide through Vietnam. I am quite confused regarding booking of internal flights, the link given is of 12goasia is it good? Have you booked all internal flights via 12goasia? And what about hotels in Vietnam on which site have you booked the same?

      For flights, I used 12go & Trip.com. For hotels, multiple sites like Booking, Agoda & Trip. Relevant links are in the description.

    Loved all the information. Planning a trip to Vietnam with Senior Citizen parents. Wondering if a package tour would be better than self-planning. Ps. We are a thorough travelling family.

      @@WanderingMonk thanks a tonne. I wud be grateful for another piece of information. We are booking tickets and see a stark difference between return from Hanoi and return from Ho Chi Minh (prices are higher if returning from here). Ours is 13 day itinerary in which we hope to see Sapa, Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Halong, Danang, Hoi An. I would be grateful if you could mention if we can Skip Ho Chi Minh or not?

      @WanderingMonk  9 месяцев назад

      @@AmanpreetKaur-ow6ch Yes, absolutely you can surely skip since you are spending time mainly in North/central Vietnam.

    Great video. I am planning to visit in April 1st week next year, will that be suitable or not. Where i might find rainy season in that duration? It that time okay to visit whole country?

    • @WanderingMonk
      @WanderingMonk  Год назад

      The rainfalls across country is on a lower side in April but it might be hot & humid. April is one of the better months to visit Vietnam.

    Your videos on Vietnam including this video are very informative and beautifully narrated. After watching Vietnam videos from your channel and others, I have become very excited about that country.
    What are the bookings (flights, hotels, cruises etc) that can be done in INR before leaving India? Is it advisable to carry a forex card loaded with VND? What is the acceptability of Forex/Indian Debit/Credit cards in daily normal expenses/purchases?

    • @WanderingMonk
      @WanderingMonk  Год назад +1

      Glad you like them!
      Most of the bookings (lights, hotels, cruises etc) can be done from India. Indian Credit/Debit Cards (Mastercard/Visa) are accepted everwhere. You can carry a Niyo card for cash withdrawal, shared the details in this video as well.

    Very useful and informative video - thank you! If we travel in the ideal months March is it better to travel from North to South or South to North. Many bloggers have mentioned since North is more beautiful, its better to go from South to North. We are planning a similarly itinerary but for 2 weeks so we thought of including Mua Caves trek and maybe Nha Trang. What do you suggest based on the weather? Any recommendations for something that should not be missed for 14 days in Vietnam apart from the itinerary shared?

    • @WanderingMonk
      @WanderingMonk  Год назад

      Thanks for watching.
      March would be a good month weather wise. North to South or vice versa does not matter much. You can add Phu Quoc, Nha Thrang & Ban Gioc waterfall near China border in your itinerary.
