This is the type of stuff i listened to daily after i had my identity crisis at age 11, i wanted to end my life, but this kinda music, gave me a reason to choose life everyday, i thought that how vould a world so cruel, produce the most beautiful and soothing sounds, then i went on my journey of discover and choosing to life every day... I was in. A dark place but these sounds provided a warm and tender reminder that shit gets better, little by little, but you gotta choose to see it if you want.
Man this beat is so genius to me. Looping it over and over but splintering it into different more erratic patterns as the song goes on is so creative. Just when it's right about to lose your attention the track explodes with brilliance as if it had pent up tension near the end!
Heard this for the first time when i went to Japan in 2007 on a language study program. My friend from CA, who i met in the same group, introduced me to Nujabes. I was already into Dj Krush, Dj Shadow and J Dilla and this fits so well in their ranks
Us CA guys are usually pretty up to date on our music. Nujabes biggest influence is jazz, most of the songs you like from him are directly sampled from famous jazz songs from back in the day. CA has a HUGE jazz music culture so when champloo first dropped in 2005 (in the states) we knew exactly what he was doing and we loved it.
I took a smal dose of shroom and when I felt it I was listening to this. that ending put me in a trance and I’ve heard this song countless times but it never fails me.
As for how much this song is amazing, I can't help but keep hearing how it bursts in and out so much that it makes it hard for me to listen to sometimes unfortunatly. when it changes back parts that don't is when I am truly enamored by the beauty of this song
@@mrlevinielsen *WTFH?! Who you calling a racist, that's what that means in German, "The Racist"! WHO THE HELL YOU CALLIN' "THE RACIST"?! MOST CERTAINLY I KNOW YOU'RE NOT CALLING NUJABES (RIP) THAT! He was far from a racist!!! He was all-inclusive in his music!!! 😠😡🤬😤🤯💯*
