Yes, Henry is super talented and a genius composer/musician. Man the songs he has composed and covered when SUJU-M and when he was on hiatus were amazing!! Seriously..I’m mad that SM didn’t invest him that much these past couple of years. Especially, since SUJU-M became inactive since 2014 when they did “SWING” which was a great song btw!! I mean Henry did do OSTs and released a few songs, but it was more oh himself pushing for it or doing everything himself. If I remember correctly, him and Amber have been vocal about SM mistreating them. Both of them wanted to release music solo wise more frequently, but SM didn’t really have them as top priority. Henry can play several instruments and obviously speak Chinese as well as English since he’s Canadian Chinese. However, he can also speak French fluently..and he had to learn Korean when he joined Super Junior. FYI: a lot of the Chinese members weren’t really welcomed in SKOREA..especially Henry. He had a bulk of antis earlier in his career and Henry was traumatized about it. He slowly became well loved, but it took a couple of years for SKOREA to accept him. Oh and Henry is basically the catalyst of introducing Red Velvet even before they debuted. Irene was his love interest in “1-4-3” which also features Amber and Seulgi as his love interest in “Fantastic”. In this “Fantastic” he also plays his violin and dances while playing it. Although it’s sad that Henry left SM..I’m not all surprised by it. At some point you get so tired of trying to prove your worth to a company who just stopped paying you any attention. However, other Super Junior members still see him as their precious talented mochi maknae and support his endeavors of opening his own studio. They’ve supported his solo releases as you can tell from this MV. Kyuhyun has especially been so supportive of Henry even going to one of his violin performances in the variety show “Always Cantare”, where Henry and some other celebs who are gifted musicians actually join a professional orchestra. If I had just one ounce of intelligence and talent from Henry..I’d be so happy! He’s that amazingly talented! He’s also a great actor as well and have been in Chinese movies as well as some recent kdramas and of course he’s awesome on variety shows.
