This video is the answer to Sergey Egorov's question "How to make the bass be heard when listening through a smartphone, and Lo-Fi and similar directions, native fl studio plug-ins".
Let's do something vaguely reminiscent of Lo-Fi hip-hop: medium tempo, dirty drums with big swing and jazz chords. We need this bit for an example to demonstrate how to achieve bass audibility on small speakers.
The reason that the bass is not audible is due to the limitations of the frequency range in which small speakers work. Your bass should have harmonics in the range of 100 hertz and above, that is, even if it is a sub bass, it should have some harmonics in this frequency range. How can this be achieved?
For example, take 3xOsc standard. Here, the default is a sine wave and it is not audible. Now let's go to the settings of this oscillator, turn on the envelope for the pitch. We increase the amplitude, remove all handles except decay. And we make decay rather short.
This makes the bass a little more noticeable. You can also mix noise with it. So, we will make one of these oscillators noise and mix the volume a little bit.
And now you can add saturation, for example, using Waveshaper, and now the bass becomes more noticeable, even considering that we have cut off all these bass frequencies up to 120 hertz.
Thus, an excellent fat, crisp bass is obtained from the simplest standard plug-in.

Вполне логично, что бы что-то услышать, должно быть что-то, чудес не бывает, по этому метод вполне рабочий и правильный, в любых жанрах используется с вариациями на тему, разве что бас изначально будет иметь всё необходимое, тогда может и не понадобиться. Вообще это психо-акустические фишки, можно на самом деле не добавлять кучу частот, а использовать всего пару дополнительных синусов в правильном соотношении и мозг будет рисовать сам то, чего на самом деле нет в том самом низу.
