You have the sweetest personal sewing retreat setup!! I'm planning to be permanently on the road in a few years and I have said for at least the last 20 years, "I breathe, therefore I quilt." I can tell quilting is just as much a part of you. Thank you for sharing!!
Leanna, It sounds like you will be going on quite an adventure soon! Just think of all the quilt museums and quilt shops you will be able to visit! I really do love quilting!
We donot camp but if we did i think it would be fun to quilt in the trailer. My sewing machine in my sewing room is diectly in front of a large window so i know what you mean about looking out and seeing nature and hearing the birds. I live in a very rural so it is very peaceful. I feel thankful for this. Thank you again for the video. 😊
I live in our RV full time and didn't think I could quilt! Thank you for the inspiration to start again. Just bought a new sewing machine and need to get all the supplies again! But this is great and inspiring. Thank you
Just found you..I am in Colorado and we rv a lot..have been thinking about taking my Janome Gem (smaller machine than my home one) and you are inspiring..will look at all your videos I can find..Thanks and have a wonderful rest of your summer.
Joanne, I always take my sewing machine!!! I love to quilt early in the morning the the windows open so I can hear all the birds! I just basically love to quilt!
That looks so fun and inviting. I don’t have a camper but I do love to go on retreats. My friend would always take her sewing machine and projects when her husband went out of town for meetings. She would sew during the day and attend the events during the evening… It was a perfect time for both of them. I am going to watch my daughter’s dog and chickens next week while they’re out of town and of course I’m taking my sewing machine and projects. It will be like a mini retreat and my friend is joining me me for a day of sewing. I feel like I’m getting a bonus and a mini vacation while my daughter and her husband are having a week away. A win-win for all of us and I get to see my grand dog...A St. Bernard!
Thank you for posting this! I like your set up and got some new ideas. We travel 10 months a year in our 25 ft class C, and my supplies are with me at all times!
When I go camping we have no convenience’s… I mean none not even running water! But I do take anything that I can do by hand! Good time to sew the binding… work on English paper piecing.. grandma’s flower garden!
We have similar campers!!! I love sewing in my camper! It is cozy. I have been known to go sew it the camper while it is in the driveway. Lol! I do not have that nifty table for my ironing board so I use the counter. Thanks for the tips while camping!
You are right about campers being cozy! How funny that you sew in your camper on the driveway! I never thought of that but a great idea for quiet uninterrupted sewing! I love that idea!!!
I love it! I just signed up for 2 retreats in June so I am getting excited to pack up myself 😁. I think it’s great that you do what you enjoy and don’t feel like you have to do ‘camping’ things if you really prefer to sew. I don’t camp much these days but if/when I do I’m taking as much sewing supplies as I can! 😆
It’s funny that our first little camper only had beds a bathroom and a kitchen. About all we did in it was sleep. That’s the one in which we raised the kids while camping. Now camping is much different lol
hello very beautiful videos please kindly film how to setup the sewing machine inside the camper please OK?please kindly let me know OK?thank you very much

There is really nothing to film. I just put it on the kitchen table and plug it in.
