That part at the end with the blurry faces is so striking to me. Just a few months ago I had a nervous breakdown so bad that my vision got fucked up and that's what I saw when I looked at other people. This video is inspiring me to get back into art ....
Personally, since I was thinking more towards the meaning of the show and less towards the literal "cant see cuz glasses" bit, I saw it as an allegory for a lack of overcoming hardships towards the end of the show. Where the whole scene was about how he had overcome his depression, but the blurriness is a mental haze that shows he never overcame anything, but rather just comes off as he did. Nothing internally has changed despite him vocally stating it. Which felt really powerful to me, in that way, and feels a lot more realistic than what had actually happened in the show. Since, no matter how hard you try, its never going to be that easy.
I've seen a few edits coveing this show and most of them have been pretty good, but this one probably fit style and atmosphere of the show the most. You also somehow not only capture the atmosphere of the show of the edit but the atmosphere of the song too which is kinda interesting because alot of edits ive seems to use songs a bit if an emotional boost if I'm making any sense. Sorry if I'm rambling, it's just that this style of editing looks so unique to me especially with the blurred faces and the whole chair spiral sequence, it gives the feeling of detachment of the world which is pretty much what i felt when watching the show for the first time. Excellent work my friend!

Thom Yorke would probably approve of this as the music video, for 15 steps they used anime style animation as their music video(its pretty psychedelic btw) so this totally fits the aesthetic.
i like how early in the video there's a filter like you're looking through a beer glass, and in the flashing sections how certain frames "burn in" and stay longer than others.
This is just WOW the atmosphere was incredible and we could really perceive feelings from it on top of being unique and looking nothing like everything I've seen so far. Thank you for this

This edit resonates with me and really evokes the exact emotions that I’ve been feeling and struggle to express. I don't normally comment on anime videos because I know I don't know what I'm talking about but WOW this is insanely good!! While watching 0:44-1:10 I was reminded of a time as a kid I had a bad flu during a heat wave and became dehydrated, then I scroll down and read the description and realize that delirious fever state must have been what you were going for and man you nailed it! I know the term fever dream is kind of overused and I wouldn't say this has that sort of vibe, it's more like the times you're barely lucid during a bad fever imo. Especially 2:14 onwards I got the impression of coming in and out of consciousness and seeing things going on around you while too delirious for anything to really register as real. Incredible work! Glad you're feeling better

I thought the same thing. This reminded me a lot of what dissociation feels like. EVERYTHING was a fucking blur.
