    As someone who’s been through loads of Who’s Line compilations, this one wasn’t one of my favorites. Kabir, do yourself a favor and look up Who’s Line’s “Scenes from a hat” compilations, they’re hilarious

      'Scenes From A Hat' really can be hilarious as can when they are given weird props to use. I also love when they place one of them, usually Colin, in front of a green screen and have him guess what is going on behind him.

    Been watching this show for over 20 years. I love it when they make each other laugh uncontrollably.
    Many, many years ago there was a 2 line skit that broke up the whole cast.
    Ryan: “waiter, my soup is cold.”
    Mike: “it’s gazpacho, you idiot.”
    That was it. The entire cast was on the floor.

    Watch a full episode and then you'll understand how the show works. There are usually about 4 "games" per show, from a variety of 40+ different games that they have played throughout the series. Each "game" consists of a suggestion/topic and a specific outline/rules for what the actors have to do. Some of them involve audience volunteers. The one in this video is "Greatest Hits" where Ryan & Colin make up song titles and Wayne Brady sings the songs. "Scenes From a Hat" is when they are given a suggestion to act out, like deleted scenes from a specific movie or things you can say to your girlfriend but not your boss. Living Scenery is when 2 performers aren't allowed to move by themselves but are allowed to talk and 2 audience members stand in to move them around and they are given a scene to act out, like police men being called to the zoo or re-enacting the titanic. One of my favorites is Sound Effects, when 2 audience members are given microphones and have to provide the sound effects for what the performers are acting out.

  • @SoGal_YT
    @SoGal_YT 7 месяцев назад +7

    FYI - Greatest Hits is the name of the sketch. It’s a play on the old infomercials selling CD sets. Ryan and Colin are the ones trying to sell it, and they come up with the names of the songs. The other two have to improv a clip of the song.

    yes Ryan and Colin are the "main cast" they have been on the show for decades, they were on the original UK version before this american version came out. Wayne is the newcomer on the american version and is the 3rd main cast member because of his physical and singing ability. The 4th person on the show usually rotates and is different people, sometimes regulars, sometimes celebrities.

    I didn't realize it was still on! One of the activities teens/young adults like to do in Central Florida is go to an Improv performance. I think I went every weekend before heading to the club to dance late (I was young once). Got to see very young Wayne Brady improvs live, and I've never laughed so hard in my life. If there is a theater near you that offers cheap tickets for an improv show - GO! Almost always really funny if not fall on the floor laughing.

    Let me explain how the game "Greatest Hits" works. So Colin and Ryan are trying to promote and sell compilation albums and the audience would suggest what the compilation album will be about. Now Colin and Ryan in their banter, is working their way to introduce the name of a few of the songs from the album. Wayne sometimes alone, or with someone else would then have to make up the song on the spot with the musician(s). This compliation mostly just focused on funny moments from Colin and Ryan's banter, however it is missing context because you can't know what they are really talking about unless you've watched the entire game. Some of the songs that Wayne and others have come up with together have been awesome.

    Okay, in this game they're given a theme for a CD collection, Colin & Ryan come up with song titles and music styles for the various songs, then Wayne - and sometimes the fourth cast member - have to come up with a song to that.

    During the show they played different games. This is a game where the two guys sitting down are the announcers to CD collections. The black guy and the other guy are singing some of the songs of the collections that they're making up. This is just a recap of a bunch of episodes. This game usually only last for about 6 minutes or less on each show. The guy singing the songs are making them up on the Fly

  • @nancystanton955
    @nancystanton955 7 месяцев назад +1

    Ryan, tall thin guy, and Colin , shorter balding guy, are essentially the two main 'players' and others are quests. Wayne is the black comedian and is on the show almost as much. The fourth 'player' is from a rotating group of comedians, both male and female. Drew Carey ,who you saw here was the original host but left to host The Price Is Right game show. A female actor/comedienne, I can see her in my mind but forget her name, took over for Drew. You really need to see some full shows. You will be hooked!
