Loving your technique, you nailed it! Really good cover and it sounds so good, how did you record it?? Cant see any mics, is it straight up from the camera?
thanks so much!! I use a Yamaha EAD10! it's basically just one piece you attach to the bass drum, and it's both a stereo mic and a trigger for the kick drum! it's really handy!
i started playing in july 2018! for beginners, i think the hard parts of this song would be keeping the hi hat going with your left foot (separation of your left and right foot) and the memorization, but the main beat and fills are pretty straightforward! :)
@@carter_tate hi again, im now a month and a half in and i’ve got half the song down (obviously not perfectly but it sounds like the song at least lol). you mentioned that you just learned songs you like, so does that mean you’re completely self taught? also, i’ve read about the “critical age” when it’s best to learn languages, instruments etc. and im way past it at age 17. what age did you start drumming? this is truly one of if not the best covers of the song on YT. thank you!

when did you start drumming? i’m only like a week and a half in and i’m trying to learn this song. i know it’s not smart but we’ll see.

@@carter_tate ok, thank you. also, do you follow a practice routine, or do you just learn songs and pick up new things along the way?
@@martinholmes6763 i just learn songs that i like or songs that i think the drum part is interesting!
@@carter_tate ok , thank you!
