I have my own theory on memory recall. I am 77 and I look at it this way. Our minds are like a file cabinet. By the time we are in our 50's, 60's and 70's all our files are full, if not crammed with memories and information we have stored over the years, and it just takes a little longer to find what we need to bring up. Amen
That's a great analogy! It makes sense that with a lifetime of memories and experiences, it might take a little longer to sort through everything, but all those rich memories are still there. Thanks for sharing your insight!
What a compassionate and wisely understanding teaching! The mere attitude of this presentation made me listen and take notes on several issues. For those of us elderly ones (and I´ll be 77 next week) it is so good to hear, what symptoms belong to the normal process, and how we can keep that process even... My heart-felt gratitude to you, dear philosopher - and all those, who care!
Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful reflection! I'm truly grateful that the message resonated with you. Wishing you a wonderful 77th birthday next week, and may you continue to find peace and strength in this beautiful journey of life. Stay well!
MY BD was on the 17th and I turned 77 ,hard to believe,as time went by so swiftly.Something really special about us 47ners ,most don't look nor act our age. I walk everyday and try and get 10 to 12,000 steps in although there are some days only 5,000.Tons of supplements and much self care. Not going down without a fight. When I meet people born in 47 I feel like we are grapes on the same vine. 🍇🍇🍇🍇,we do get better with age,and become wiser in that not just anyone can pop our cork!!!! Happy birthday to the Libra sun signs 🥰🥰
Happy belated birthday! It sounds like you’re embracing your 77th year with incredible spirit and vitality. It’s inspiring to see how you maintain such a healthy lifestyle with daily walks and self-care. Keep proving that age is just a number and continue to enjoy the journey! Cheers to getting better and wiser with each year.
