Youll be jumping that crossing DUKES style right there
The boys are quite the builders creating plaster scenery & Erector Set bridges! But contrary to American Flyer's claim, most O scale, HO scale, TT scale, & Gauge 1 model railroads used two rail track in the early 1950s.
Petemonster62 its competitor Lionel invented the two rail track for ho trains
@@theblocksmith645 - Sorry, I forgot American OO scale trains. I believe Lionel started its OO scale line in 1938, using a 3 rail " roadbed " track. In 1939, Lionel came out with a 2 rail OO scale train line. I think there was wide use of 2 rail track by the other OO scale train manufacturers. I believe Mantua had always used 2 rail HO scale track since 1934 & Varney HO also used 2 rail HO scale track, when they began in 1936. Plus there was also O scale track with an outside third rail in use at that time.
Petemonster62 oh okay I am still a young 3 rail o modeler so I didn't know that and I love watching these old black and white train shows as it reminds me of what my grandfather (I called him papa) would watch when he was a kid he was a great man. I also like watching these since they are old an probably from the late 45's and early 50's when America was at its highest
@@theblocksmith645 - The very first Lionel trains in 1900 were " 2 & 7/8 Inch Gauge " & used a 2 rail track. Around 1906, Lionel started making 3 rail Standard Gauge trains. Around 1915, Lionel started making 3 rail O Gauge trains. In the early 1930s, Lionel introduced its " Winner Line " trains that ran on O27 Gauge 3 rail track.
@@Petemonster62 I know but thanks
Ten cent is kind of steep isn`t it?
