The content you present is with is sooo good, you're an amazing creator and editor and the fact that you give those amazing tricks for free is magic on its own. Thank you so much for doing what you do!
There are a million people showing magic on RUclips yet your persona and your quirkiness are excellent. Your tricks are fantastic. So clever to watch. You sir are a breath of fresh air......just wish I was able to perform....any tricks without fumbling like a virgin on wedding night..
Daniel, I haven’t even started to watch this video yet because I wanted to just stop and take a moment to say “thank you”. You are talented in many ways; skilled in the art of not only magic, but video production, acting, comedy and communication. But it is your generosity that I want to say “thank you” for. You sometimes apologize for a “long video”, but I could listen to you talk all day! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. May I say, FANX!
Madison, you sir, are cut from a different cloth. That cheater heritage bottom deal with wrist kill is extremely useful. This effect reminds me of 'perfect pair,' yet with a few extra sausages. Another banger!
Thank you, Daniel. Love the efficient, effective and economical use of the bottom deal. I’m also enamored of the in your face boldness of the Madison Shift. Like the additional trick you squeeze out it.
FANX! Yes yes, we can hide so much in front of people and the social / behavioural compliance of accepting a hand to be empty simply because it is in use, what a beautiful deception!
Great one, fanx! Went straight into my repertoire. After the first round I always like to cut the extra card into my deck and force it to the spectator (hiding the different colored back) to get a second beat out of it. Then I phrase something like "The first time you selected a random card and gave it to me. Now the same thing happend, but without any of us even touching your deck." just to reveal that the card he took now vanished from his deck and appeared in mine (or wherever you wanna let it reappear). So now you are left with both decks clean and your spectators completely puzzled.
Yo! That's crazy!! I just refreshed myself on this last week for a gig!! I did the old school method. But, I'm definitely going to be doing the new one at this weekend's show! Hell yeah!
I really enjoy learning you methods man you articulate the steps easier and the mechanics seem more reliable than most I have become more confident when performing to people thank you man
@@DANIELmadison Think that was meant to be, "your gonna go a long way..?" But keep up the good work still. I'm a magician for 2 years, and I perfected some really hard card slights, like bottom deal, second deal, classic shift, and a whole bunch more, but every single time I see you, I feel like I still have a long way to go, fanx for always reminding me and giving me more ideas xD
Great job Daniel! Your so full of knowledge about sleight of hand, fanx for sharing! At some point I'm gonna go to the UK for vacation, and I'd love to meet you in person.
I absolutely love that Madison Shift with this trick. Thank you for all the insanely amazing videos Daniel. You are 💯% awesome, crazy as the day is long but amazingly brilliant.
Thank you for making these videos and tutorials and sharing your knowledge with us i have learned a lot about the art of sleight of hand and from you and hope to continue to do so.... Thanks again Daniel 👍😊✌️
I've been recently building routines around using 2 different coloured decks and BLIND is definitely one I'll be perfecting and adding to them. MAD RESPECT!! DM you are truly an inspiration for card sleight magic ♣️♥️♠️♦️
You know what? I love you. Srlsy i watched 3 magic video the last is yours and it is so funny so interesting and the fact that i can see 2 madison in one video this is perfect thank you for this tutorial take care and have fun.
Daniel. I'm v8sually impaired and xan't aee well enough to see cards but I love magic (I can do dad magic - making things vanish) basically to bore the k8ds. I can't see what you aee doing but love your 'audio description'. Keep up the good work. Good lad.
Daniel I’m new to your channel I met you from one of my friends Jordan And I only new your name but when I checked you out and your playlist with the meaningful videos They really got to me in a good way Your amazing not just at magic but it’s your personality that I love
I really like how you call the people that you perform magic for "participants". I don't like calling them spectators because that's not at all what they are, they're actively engaging in the magic and participating in it. Not just merely watching it happen.
King! Love your humor and your in depth discussions about subtleties. Not just: ”hey, here’s the move or trick, here’s how it’s done k thanks bye”. This needs to be a standard on tutorials. Great stuff, my man!
I feel as if you 50/50 your deck with the backs facing out, and then force the chosen card from the "top" half quickly, there's much less of a chance of turning the deck over being risky. I'm not skilled enough to bottom deal, yet. But I am ballsy enough to pull off another, less clean, method. Thanks for another bit of genius/ madness from the mind of DM
Hey. As I've seen, your merch includes a lot of cool signatured things: bags, pillow, cap, beanie and so on... Have you thought of making something additional like a tie or scarf? Maybe even pins for a jacket/coat? I think that would be also awesome:) Btw, fanx for the content!
Being a worrier,I can see a possible problem with this process(blind) That is how do you prevent the spectator(or Suzan) from looking at the face of the card they select, thereby obviously spoiling the effect? If you actually tell them not to look at it this could be a problem too.Maybe you could address this performance-related question on an up coming vid or something. Thanks again for doing god's work on teaching these beautiful illusions!
FANX it's incredibly hilarious and also you put so much details with a lot of wisdom and quality so FANX It's for that you are for me like Dani Daortiz the example to follow 😉👍
Man I try to stay clear of Mentalism at these times, I'd never stop talking if I got into it, each tutorial would have to be at least 2 hours LOL - yes, agree completely, there is no room for playing cards in the serious performance of mentalism.
Imma just take the original version as something in the back of my mind that I don't really have to practice just to see if I can get away with sometimes, kinda like using too jokers that are similar but maybe different colors as duplicates and trying to pass them off as the same card.
Legend.

MAD Respect, in practice you'll find that you can kill that wrist SO slowly and fairly, it starts to look like real magic!
@@DANIELmadison Thank you. I will definitely incorporate this more. A very deceptive and special sleight, this wrist kill move.

1:38 the 9 of clubs disappeared ... that's the real magic
I learnt that one from my Dad
I saw that too😂😂
In the second version, instead of turning the deck face up, as you're talking to the spectator, you could do a deck flip.

Did David Parr do a version of this on Penn and Teller Fool Us?
I didn't see it, going to see if I can find it now though...
Both David Parr's routine, Copycat, and this one are Do As I Do routines, there are like 20 versions of those, and existed as far back as 1895.
