NL: Mais hakselen 2017 door loonbedrijf W. Arts BV uit Stevensbeek. Er wordt gehakseld met een prachtige nieuwe Krone Big X 770 veldhakselaar met 12 rijig Krone EasyCollect 903. Ik mocht even mee rijden dus ook beelden vanaf de hakselaar! De afvoer wordt gedaan met een Nature Green Fendt 824 Vario en een Fendt 922 Vario trekker beide met Veenhuis Carriers.
EN: Harvesting maize 2017 by contractor W. Arts BV from Stevensbeek, The Netherlands. They are chopping with a new Krone Big X 770 forage harvester with 12 row Krone EasyCollect 903. With cab view and a ride on that nice beast! Hauling is done with a Nature Green Fendt 824 Vario and a Fendt 922 Vario tractor both with Veenhuis trailers. The middle one model from the world's most powerful forage harvester.

My name is Ron, I'm from west central Minnesota, USA. I am retired from a career in agribusiness. Love to watch European farming videos. What type of soils do you have there in the Netherlands? Your corn (maize) is very tall, is it bred especially for maize?
Hello Ron, thanks a lot for watching my video! A part of the Netherlands have clay, a part peat and a huge part sand.
The maize in this video is on sand. This year was great for maize. Some was even taller than this, like in this video: ruclips.net/video/IfgrpHcG6xA/видео.html.
