A learning curve is a correlation between a learner's performance on a task and the number of attempts or time required to complete the task.

Dont get me wrong, the animations and all the stuff are really good but.. where the heck is the curve?

That's not an example of a learning curve with the actual logistical maths included (with a maximum and a differential equation with an exponential growth incorporated - which WOULD be an example) this is a definition not an example at all. That's no mention of the limiting maximum.... And without an example you may be able to define it, but you will never understand it.... To the point you could answer questions on it or design a protocol to allow someone to improve. Waste of time.

I think it’s less about exact calculations and more about concept of what it is.

Yes, your video is. And thanks for the reply. General definitions are a first step. However a swimming coach giving a schedule of target times to a swimmer in training, or a violinist practicing a concerto or a scriptwriter trying to get up to professional standard - and mapping out realistic and USEFUL rates of change in speed, accuracy and production for these types of improvement (including time management...) Is best served by not understanding the general concept but by having drills or a cc training schedule prepared by a professional who both understand the definition AND can model a realistic and attainable schedule. That's what a learning curve is for - for professionals - any amateur can grasp the definition. Or the general concept. Thanks anyway. Kenny

So why not you make a video on the same topic

@@ashishchip I didn't make a video I prepared material to help trainers map out estimated training times for programs for real people to improve performance. Why don't you do one? Then send me a link.

    but where is the curve

      Hey Mihir,
Curve is the concept and it’s represented in the thumbnail. In the video I try to give examples to explain it.
      Have a productive day 😉

@@ProductivityGuy- no the curve is the function of time vs complexity put in a graph. To answer Mihir's question: it is missing.

Good explanation, but you should have included the curve. I watched the video to talk to teachers about the curve and how children learn.

Good stuff, there is a very robotic melody/inatonation in the speech though, almost like it's a text-to-speech algorithm reading the script. It was difficult to hear the content as I was too distracted by that one melody especially that repeated over and over. It makes it sound like the reader doesn't have any interest in the topic but rather just reads a script.
