I discovered Regine in 2021. She is now one of my favorite singers. I have gone back to the beginning and love every decade of her extraordinary career.
@@peterd.9522 yes!! While I did grow up having heard her songs. It wasn’t until the pandemic that I grew to love and truly appreciate her artistry. In 2022, was a great year for me as a fan, I got to watch her in person for the first time (front row seats) for her Iconic 2022 tour in the US and to my surprise, I got to have backstage access to “ASAP Live In Vegas” just a few months after where I finally got to meet her privately in person.
I was such a hot mess and ended up babbling about non-sense but hey, I got a photo ehe!

Her voice during prime was skyrocketing but it is still pleasant to listen to not to mention it sounded feminine . Her voice quality is a rare feat , powerful yet soft and feminine, a sound that none of our current singers possess.

I started admiring Mama Rej way back in 2017. I just lost my mum and hindi ko alam nagising na lang ako nababaliw na ako kay Regine hehehehehe, I just 13 years old, gr 8 hanggang ngayon na college na ako HAHAHAHHAHAHA baliw pa din.

Pero mas pinili nya na mag stay sa sarili nyang bansa.. Sayang mn marami na siyang offer pero mas pinili nya manatili kasama family nya.. Halos walang kapantay pgsikat nya sa pinas.. Marami na siyang karangalan sa pinas at isa sa nakapag bigay na influence sa mga bagong namamayagpag sa henerasyon ngayon.. Naging pamantayan siya..

1997 pala to 10 yrs old palang ako... di ko pa sya masyadong idol nito pero parang nagconcert na sya dito samin banda sa UP campus... Sa may UP sunken garden at umulan nung time na yun, sumilong lang kami sa taas sa sakayan ng ikot... Pero napapanuod ko na sya sanlinggo nAPO sila nun... Napaparinggan na din sya pero di pa ko ganun ka adik... Parang r2k at KKI days na talaga ko sobrang nahumaling sa kanya noon...😊 (Grade 6)

I was accepted in UP bec of an anecdote abt her. Reigning still. Reigning supreme. Unparallled. Wala nang susunod p.
