Awasome! How long did it take you to make? And how long did it take to render?

thanks! this took approximately 3 months to complete (didn't work on this full-time). I separated the renders by elements (bg, fg, etc.), and the dust cloud alone took 1.5-2 days to render, but the rest were pretty fast (1 - 6 mins per frame)

@@nicolaschan3335 I made the same thing to my avatar project. Separated all the elements. Because the scenes were too heavy.
      3 months-Craziness. Great job!

Incredible! Might as well be the real deal. How do you deal with such a massive scale as in the 1st shot?

Thanks! Now that I think about it, I could've optimised the scene more. But I did a few optimisations / workarounds to make it easier to work with:
      1. The whole sandstorm wall is actually 3-4 unique sims that have been instanced with some timeshifts, transformations etc. to make it less uniform
      2. I rendered different elements separately, eg. terrain - sandstorm - cars + car dust sim - AOV passes (reflection, shadow, depth etc.)
      3. I also did a lot of comp work, like atmospheric fog and stuff
Hope this helps! Lmk if you need further explanation
