"Xray's" don't happen randomly, they are predetermined things much like brutalities. You can learn to combo into and combo from Krushing Blows (as they're called) for some insane damage, you can even land multiple Krushing Blows in a single combo with practice!

all i can say is it looks BEAUTIFUL, started with umk3 and played all mk games. this looks beautiful just look at the fresh blu on sub0. also allowing them to have some sick wacky moves IMO is so good, love how he's playing around with the ice its his power so hes so free and versatile with it.. love the new combo system as mkx could get frustrating for some. very happy
I don’t know if I speak for all but personally I like that’s it’s not like mkx don’t get me wrong I think X is an awesome game but it was missing something I just can’t put my finger on it! Edit: I think that it’s great that it’s more like mk9 fighting style than x I thought running was a cheap way to gain ground fast and made characters that were supposed to be fast feel slow. in Mk11 it looks like the flow of combat is a lot cleaner and the combos look better I think they took a good step in the right direction with 11 and feel it will be the best mk to date.!!

Luis Xander Malave yeah a lot of people are mad that running is not in the game and acting like it’s been a staple in the mk community but I think it’s the absolute opposite I thought running was a cheap way to gain ground quickly and really took away the feel of fast characters I feel that not having it will make for more interesting combos. With that being said I also think that it will give characters like kabal a really fun play style and make them actually feel fast. I think mk11 will be the best mk out there but only time will tell!

I do think that they need to speed the characters up just a tad but overall nothing huge I personally didn’t like run that much but it seemed a lot of people did I looking forward to seeing how the mk team will find a balance for everyone. This is a list of my opinion of the new stuff in MK11. - For EX moves to replace the trigger button with alternate input buttons seems a bit much. As an MK player, I like playing more than one characters 5 or more. But for one character in MK11 is like doing homework but harder. This will make it complicated for me personally especially if we're going to play a story with multiple characters. Also, it's best to have armor because it gets you out of pressure. - I kinda like the wake-up stuff and the breakaway but I got something I feel would make it better (this is a guess), I feel like the roll away should have a faster recovery or roll furthermore away. The wake-up attacks feel like it's not really worth it as the launcher for example. If some of the wake up is one hit, should do more block damage if it's gonna rest. The breakaway makes add in addition to break close or far. This only works only when knocked down which for me I'm not a fan of. It should available when your down on the ground either for a knockdown or combo dropped. - Some needed meters some do not in a match. Maybe there should be a balance where some characters meter will fill slow or fast for each offense and defense. Example: This character should is good or too good at defense more so they have slow defense meter fill and the offense meters more faster - The flawless block is good for professionals but I don't think it's gonna be used as much (but I don't know yet since it's early). Why because all attacks will always be unexpected and some don't have time to react. I must say this only for the hardcore player out there which I'm fine with. - I wish the run mechanic is back because the movement in MK11 feels slow. If they don't add the run then make the movement faster, Walk speed would be a little faster and dashes should have more reach and less recovery. Maybe add dash cancels to specials too. - Roaster looks way to small. 25 is okay but since half is confirmed there is no room, They should add more but that will affect the character story mode. To me, I would add a character even if they are not related to the story or just background characters. We just wanna play them. Or just hope they will be in the DLC pack.

Fatal blows function alot like desperation moves similar to games like KOF, Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting...and I like it. I like how they have the bunny hops said games have as well. Gonna miss the run mechanic though. The new meter burn functionality is gonna take some getting used to.
I'm a huge MK nerd and I gotta say, I'm very impressed with the graphics and game play. My only problem is the "klassic" Scorpion look. This scorpion has on the MK2 face mask with the UMK3 shin guards and arm guards. It's all mixed up and also the original MK2 Scorpion has on Umpire pads for shin guards. A Klassic Scorpion for MK1 should have a plane face mask with no details and a plane ninja outfit. I'm a 80s baby so I obviously should know. Hopefully we will have a ton of gear that will allow us to make actual MK Klassic designs. I hope that we could also make a Klassic MK1 and MK2 Johnny Cage. I love Daniel Pesina and his look as Johnny Cage vs all of the Johnny Cages afters him especially that MKX version who looks like Frank West from Dead Rising lol

Finally, someone demoing the game smart enough to put the difficulty pretty high so when the A.I. lets loose, we get an idea of the flow and speed of the gameplay and combo potential. As for no run mechanic, I feel people's grievances due to it'll be very difficult and annoying dealing with zoning in this game.
