'Fires' is one of my favourite albums of all time and you still sound as amazing as you did 19 years ago. Thank you for sharing your passion - it's utterly incredible.
'Fires' is your masterpiece and constantly on rotation on my stereo. It stands up with other early work of other legend like Kate Bush's 'The Kick Inside', Tori Amos' 'Little Earthquakes', (notice the nod to Tori on Idaho), Joan Osbourne's 'Relish'

Your music has meant a great deal to me. Picked me up from bad times then, and I am ever thankful for that obviously, but simply put your music is beautiful. Lovely guitar version of Mr King …I seem to remember you playing a guitar version of the song at The Stables in Milton Keynes a few years back (actually I yelled out for it …sorry ..you were asking for requests at the time ) 😂… great song and this is a beautiful take. Thank you ….looking forward to tomorrow 🎉
Loved this. There were a few little vocal bits on Sophia and Idaho that I actually preferred to the studio versions… pretty impressive, and I thought Sophia was perfection which couldn’t be improved upon! Think Love Will Tear Is Apart might be better than the one on Spotify too, although i don’t know the song like I know the Fires tracks. Considering she plays live and does sessions so often with just a piano, I’m surprised Nerina doesn’t play It Was Me more often. Great song and I think lends itself just fine to just her and her piano. Really good album, too. A tough one coming after Fires, but there are some really great tracks and I still think Cigarette is an absolute sensory masterpiece which is one of my favourite tests of my hi-fi and headphones.
