65 yo, never tried to make bread by hand. Back in the 90s, I had a bread maker, but I didn't care for the extremely dense texture. My great grandmother made fantastic bread every week. I loved going to her house on Saturdays. She baked bread, pies, cookies and cakes. She had a large farm, and the hired hands got paid on Saturday. She baked enough for each farmhand to take home freshly baked goods, and fresh eggs. My job was to gather eggs. I hated gathering those eggs.😅
I have no patience plus my oven cooks uneven. I found a nice lady near me to buy fresh sourdough though so I'm golden. That looks awesome and bad for my diet. Lol😅
Your bread is healthier. You know exactly what ingredients are in there because you put them there. We can't even read a store bought breads ingredients. Too many preservatives. And it doesn't even have flavor. It doesn't taste like bread. I would rather have taste over cost. Can you do a baking video of you making your recipe for bread and for your yeast rolls? I know it would be surely appreciated. I can't seem to find the right recipe so far. But then again maybe it's just me😂
