From what I saw in the keynote, what’s critical to know is, Apple “Intelligence” is only available for 15 Pro, Pro Max, and newer iPhones (which don’t yet exist). All of their previous customers, even iPhone 15 non-Pro, are excluded.

I don’t see any change in the iPhone keyboard, you still have to go back and forth to type numbers and alphabet, how dumb is that.
You can type numbers by holding the numbers key and pressing whatever you want from there at the same time, once you release the finger on top of the numbers icon they normal keyboard comes back. Yeah, it is not a number row but it's fast and pretty handy, I don't even want numbers in the keyboard all the time.

I personally don't like the numbers row at the top of the letter keys, nor would I use it on a regular basis, but it would be a nice thing to add that option yes.
I commented that because some people complain about issues that are not quite real, just that they don't know how the phone actually works.
@@JoanGamer99 Hi! I had iPhones for a long time and, one day, my last iPhone broke down and because the new model was two months ahead I decided to wait and buy a cheap Samsung phone for this period of time.
All of the sudden, I discovered a numbers row in the keyboard, a FILES app, that I can connect the phone with my computer like an external HDD, customization, more than 60Hz, and so on, just for a fraction of my previous iPhones.
Next iPhone was the same, so I bought a Samsung flagship phone, the rest is history.
Remember, we are the ones who pays for the phones and the ones who says what we want. Not them.

Well iPhone itself is far more advanced than a Samsung galaxy smartphone. But this update was to give it a Samsung treatment since these are highly requested features. But this just means that now theres zero reason to get an android lol since iPhone was already a superior smartphone even before this update. This is just the "fun" update since androids had the fun aspect to their GUI.

recently fixed my iPad Air 2 after not using it for 6 years or any other apple device.. and I was quite pleasantly surprised by iOS 15.8 it is a bit slow but it looks great

I have no idea how it's harder to do these things on Android. But I will admit one thing, I am excited for these features to come to iPhone because it's an iPhone, the world's most advanced smartphone. I am not excited for these features on existing androids because Android OS is a cheapy OS. It's a knock off of iPhone. I like iPhone because of how powerful its RAM algorithms are, its GPU, its CPU, its app development, its industry leading Apple engineered display technology, and its 3D facial recognition which Apple developed. So I welcome Android features on iPhone since I am an iPhone user.

Theyre not behind in anything? iPhone is the phone where 3D facial recognition made its debut. It was the world's first Dolby Vision video camera, world's first 2000+ nits display on a smartphone, world's first 3nm processor. It is the fastest smartphone on the planet in terms of CPU/app development. It is the phone with satellite connectivity without an antenna sticking out of it. There is no Chinese phone that will beat iPhone anytime soon lmao.
@@Mistygio I think you should look at more Chinese phones. They’re way ahead of Apple. They just don’t sell them in the US. They have 150mpx cameras that can blow away any photos taken by Apple. Apple may have been first but they’re by far no longer the best. Apple died with Steve Jobs.
@@Truth7860 Yeah so the Chinese phone youre talking about can take higher quality photos than iPhone in outdoor daylight situations. But then in low light, iPhones 48mp camera will probably take a sharper photo lol. iPhone is the first Dolby Vision video camera, which is a feat that no Chinese phone pulls ahead in. iPhone now allows LOG ProRes video recording as well so it is a lot more professional grade compared to any Chinese phone video camera. The portrait mode on iPhone was first on iPhone and is still among the best even today.
@@MistygioHEVC 10 bit beat out Apple for night vision in real life use. Also the usability for pro res from a phone camera with such a small sensor defeats the purpose of doing commercial grade videography on a phone. There have been multiple articles from people in the industry refuting Apples claims about how “great” they are. Apple has unfortunately become a scam claim company offering useless upgrades each year rather than giving customers a truly usable product. The Chinese phones that are out today just for China won’t be available in the US for another 3-5 years.
What about data safety? Is this improved or what? Another question if I lock any app on one device, will it be locked on every device or I have to do it separately on every device? I prefer closing apps on one device should close it on every device coz it’s all connected via I cloud!

facts .... Iphone is Samsung :D Screen/Camera Lens / Camera Chip and more :D everything else is made by Sony and couple other small companys and Iphone put that together and tell you its the best for over priced price and really bad system :D and Security.

I hate samsux cheap laggy phones and their customer service sucks a$$ I spent thousands on Samsung products my galaxy buds stopped working they said they would fix it free of charge it was under warranty and they call and told me it would cost $100 to fix them I gave them the choice to honor warranty or lose a customer now I have a iPhone

Steve Jobs brought us keywords, sort & rules to let us select our photos for our smart albums in iPhotos almost 20 years ago. We need keywords back for iOS. IS there anything in WWDC24 to help us organize our photos with keywords, metadata and use it to select and organize our photos. Memories is great. We need to access our photos ourselves as well..
We need less icon programming and more Photos functionality to organize our photos our way.
If anyone knows of any apps that do this please add a reply.
