Great idea. I could not possibly leave it in the ground. However I will lift the PTO shaft up and suspend it with a length of small chain, so it’s not in the grass. Thanks for the great idea.
That's a simple but effective way to store those augers .I have tried a lot of different ways and always wanted something a little better . Thanks for the idea .I'm definitely going to be building one
dude, you are new to farm life......To store a post hole digger, dig a hole in the ground, then disconnect attachments. Leave it the ground. No one can steal it, digger stays put. You can use the same place to store as many times as you like.

Smart way to store
Simple. I like it! What type of metal bracket did you use to support the 2x6? Where did you purchase?
Most hardware stores carry them in the gate/fence section... Search for "Bar Holder"
