Baba Yaga is a character from the mythology of the Slavs, she has one bone leg, lives in a house on chicken legs, flies on a broom and is a guide to the afterlife. By the way, the bear is real in the video. Hi from Ukraine
Thank you! Slaughter To Prevail is my favorite band. Love your reactions and energy. 👏 HIGHLY suggest Alex Terrible's (the vocalist) cover of BFG Division from the DOOM soundtrack. It's a masterpiece.
I don't know if you've done Agony yet or not but it is my FAVORITE STP song! I agree with you completely about his persona and performance. He is really good at what he does.
i think of alex as a genetically enhanced version of a young corey taylor. his style always reminds me of early slipknot and alex´ cover of disasterpieces is the only one that ive seen that does the song justice. ppl keep raving on about how impressed they are about his lows, and they truly are but the way incorporates his true voice with the screams and shouts and transitions between them is something you really dont hear often. if youre open to german lyrics id be super stoked if you checked out The Hirsch Effekt - LIFNEJ. its in no way lyrically as impressive as something like Lorna or Slaughter but... yeeee theyre an experience :D
You might be surprised at the amount of rap influence in current death/metalcore. You asked if it was a real bear...it was😳, Alex himself said so. Great reaction to a super hype, slamming song 🤘🤘🤘
If you like Alex' vocals, theres a good chance you like Ben Duerr from Shadow Of Intent. As song suggestions I'd go with "The Heretic Prevails" or "From Ruin... We Rise" Ben Duerr also has a slap project called "Hollow Prophet", where he did a song with Dickie Allen from IA and which slaps harder than any stepdad there is: that song is called "Scumprophet"
Nah man, your videos are great and you always have good insights. That and the fact that you enjoy a lot and have a very open mind. Subs are gonna come even quicker from now.
No, Baba Yaga was more like the prototypical "wicked witch", who cast spells and ate children. This song, though, is about a guy who owes money to a gangster called Baba Yaga. It's a pretty common nickname in the Russian Mob for someone you just don't fvck with.
I knew you would like this one if you liked Demolisher. And yes thats a real bear. You should ad -Rip & Tear or BFG Division from the DOOM soundtrack to the list, its very catchy and head bangin like this song.
Hell yes, 1k already, good job man. Btw, i realized that the songs i reccomended you dont have a music video, sorry abt that. So you should check out wild eyes by parkway drive, this is the song that made me discover em
That bear looks pretty real and it is Russia... Also, you should look at Alex Terrible's youtube channel. He has some funny covers you wouldn't expect.
You need to react to eyeless by slipknot! Overall you should definitely check out some slipknot songs in general. They are one of the biggest and most influential metal bands our time. They introduced so many people into metal music, it’s insane. Here are some slipknot song suggestions: Disasterpiece Eyeless People=Shit The Heretic Anthem Wait And Bleed Duality Psychosocial Soleway Firth As a rap fan you will probably like slipknot a lot, since slipknot songs feel kinda like a rap but much heavier. Disasterpiece is a song where Corey (the lead singer) talks about hurting and killing his childhood bully. Essentially it’s a diss-track but soooo violent 😂 you need to read the lyrics 😂. It’s so sick and heavy that Disasterpiece is without a doubt my favorite song of all time.
Yeah the bear is real. There's a video of him kinda sorta wrestling the bear. I recommend reacting to that one. I've seen many reactors reacting to this song, and not a single one has yet to notice that, when the line "What and who makes a person pay" comes up the first time, the bear is shown growling with his mouth wide open as PAY comes up. As if to show that the bear is screaming PAY. I thought that was really freaking cool that they did that.
I am not sure if anyone else has recommended Suicide silence yet buuutttt..... No pity for a coward is phenomenal. They tore the roof off the place with that song when I saw them live
Bro if you love rap go check out a band called Archspire Holly shit they are crazy and you'll love the drummer 🤣🤣. He raps at Eminem speed no joke. Love the content ❤️❤️🔥🔥
New subscriber here! Been loving the videos you’ve been putting out. Would really enjoy if you reacted to Ice Nine Kills in the spirit of Halloween. Their albums Silver Scream and Silver Scream part 2 have each song based off a different horror movie but they made a story along with the music videos. I could comment the order of the music videos if you want. It starts out with The American Nightmare
The Bear is quite Real.......These are Russians...... And Baba Yaga is not Boogey Man, Baba mean Grandmother, Baba Yaga is Grandma Witch from the Slavic Mithology
That bear is actually real, there's a behind the scenes video for this music video
He said it was his neighbors I believe
@@thereptiledude7247 also what a fucking Russian thing, “yeah we just used my neighbors BEAR.” 😂😂
@@odyssey468 right. As if the AK, Rocket Launcher, Made in Russia Vest, Tank, and Adidas tracksuit don't give it away ;
I thought it was Alex's bear.

Hi from Ukraine
They said that early slipknot is a huge influence and early slipknot had a lot of rap to it so I think your right to hear a little rap flow in this.
exactly! 100%!
I see that Colorado shirt. If your from Colorado go to their show at the Gothic Theatre in Denver on November 9th. See this man in the flesh
Thank you! Slaughter To Prevail is my favorite band. Love your reactions and energy. 👏

First. Congrats on the 1k!
That is, in fact, a real bear.
I don't know if you've done Agony yet or not but it is my FAVORITE STP song! I agree with you completely about his persona and performance. He is really good at what he does.
Agony is heavy as hell
Agony's real deal.

Corey’s sons band Vended is awesome, and this song gives me Slipknot vibes
@@MeatShieldHobbit didnt know his son was making music aswell! gonna check em out!
Asking Alexandria is another band that with their earlier stuff incorporated Danny’s singing blending into screams that sounds amazing
You might be surprised at the amount of rap influence in current death/metalcore. You asked if it was a real bear...it was😳, Alex himself said so. Great reaction to a super hype, slamming song 🤘🤘🤘
There is behind the scenes with the bear. 100% real

If you want a real unique band check out Bloodywood, they are a Indian folk metal band. Song should be “Gaddaar” or “endurant”
oh de bear is real and the tank too , check on the production video on baba yaga :) in russia there are allot of bears
Great reaction man! Check out Chelsea Grin - The Isnis and origin of sin. But also can't forget any of their older tracks too.
3:58 Baba Yaga is an evil witch who eats children 😂
It’s a story you tell children when they misbehave.
ah okay i thought it meant boogeyman
Another good choice in bands. Alex has fantastic clean vocals mixed in with his mids and gutterals. 🤘

there definitely is a rap influence, because it's very heavily inspired by Slipknot, which has almost always had some rap in it!
3:02 The Bear IS real. Alex posted a behind the scenes video where you can him fighting the bear. It’s Russia, man.
Great video keep up the work
nice video. BTW the bear is real. He stard wrestling a fucking bear!!!

imo his cover of bludgeoned to death is the perfect example of how good his range is, think you'd like it :)
If u like slaughter to prevail then BFG demon vocal cover from Alex Terrible - u can react to Mick Gordons doom song + Alex Terrible vocals
Hi from Russia, can feel these power on song and some Russians folklore 🤣

Just saw your reaction for Demolisher. was wondering if this would be next. edit: Real bear.
2 recommendations vulvodynia - banquet of enigmatic horrors pt. 1 terror and worm shepherd river of knives
For a rap fan ten56 - traumadoll would be perfect! Its pretty cool
You're totally right about the rap influence! This album is Nu-Metal through and through, lots of Slipknot influence. Also the bear was real!
Yeah the bear is real. There's a video of him kinda sorta wrestling the bear. I recommend reacting to that one.

There is technically a rap influence because they are heavily inspired by slipknot and back in the day Corey would kind of rap in the songs
All I have to say is watch Bonebreaker live in Moscow. The energy is bananas

👍
Yo thos is rad kickass man
The bear is absolutely real dude
"Baba Yaga" is just the Eastern European version of the "Boogey man", it doesn't literally translate. It's just an old lady that eats children.

Check out the behind the scenes video for it. There you get the answer about the bear ;)
