Years ago, when I first started reading the Bible, I didn’t want to use the KJV because I thought I would not understand it. My friend encouraged me to read the KJV. The Holy Spirit has been my faithful friend, teacher, and guide. I appreciate your content.
Wow! The NKJV Study Bible, the exact one you have, is the one I'm hoping to purchase. I think you've just convinced me!! Good morning from the southern California desert! I'm 65 years old and am just figuring out that it's OK to write in my Bible. 🤷🤦. I stumbled across Faith (How To Faith A Life) a couple days ago - isn't she amazing!! Very inspiring! You are a ray of sunshine, sweetheart. Thank you for taking the time to share your Bibles. Hugs, MK 🤗❤️🌵❤️🤗
I read the KJV bible. I have for a long time, but i only recently started really digging into the word & studying it. What helps me understand challenging parts of KJV is to read the passage I'm studying in other translations. I have a NIV historical/cultural bible. This gives me context into the history and culture of the passages while also allowing me to see how a different version translates particular words or verses that i don't quite understand.
I really am inspired on how many notes you took on your first Bible! WOW! I am still getting through my first Bible however, I would like to finish it so I can buy a new one and delve more into the Word of God.
I love reading my Bibles and taking notes as well I have a world bible school study edition journaling bible and 2 king James version Bibles as well can I write in them with a phone pen ❤😊
I have like 6 journals worth of notes and I feel bad because they just sit in a pile. I want to start bible journaling this way because like you said, you can take notes everywhere you go!
That’s great! I just know that if I take notes in a separate journal, I will never see those notes again lol but this way, every time I read that part of the Bible, I remember the sermon notes I took.
@@DoniriahAnn Definitely! I want to make a collection of notes so I can combine them all into 1 book before I switch over. But if you ever do anything like that with your old journals I'd love to see it! New subscriber girl! Whoo!
I love reading my bibles and taking notes I have a king James bible and a Catholic life Bible as well can I write it with a regular pencil ✏️ or a regular pen 🖋️ 🖊️
Your first bible; i found at the thrift store for 1.00 brand new and its a beautiful bible! I think it's "more for teens" but I love the devotionals inside! ❤
Yay, I just purchased the same nkjv but have been struggling with how to take notes in it besides the space already provided because I thought it wasn't enough. Now I know how to do it. Thank you and God bless you.
ESV is an easier and trustworthy translation. Especially for new Christians. NASB is true to language when you study the Greek and Hebrew . (I have a friend who did, not myself) But staying in the word is what's most important. ❤
Something that I do to add extra pages to my Bible, is to take a thick glue stick and run it down the Just the very edge of a piece of paper that I want to add and then I just stick it right into the spine of the Bible, and it ends up being just like an extra page in the Bible. I usually cut them a little shorter than the actual page, but it really works well. Just to further explain how I glue it. I literally hold the paper run it through the top of the glue stick and stick it in.
@@DoniriahAnn I just used a fat glue stick from the dollar store and ran the paper through the top making a line in the top of the glue stick. Then open your Bible and put the paper right in the crease, then close it tight and press on the spine. I can literally pick up my Bible by those pieces of paper that I've added. They are not coming out at all. I hope that helps. ❤️
What I do in my Bible is I write directly on the page about the book of the Bible I also add stickers and sometimes sticky notes, and scrap book paper which is thicker and makes your Bible thicker it also lasts that what how to faith a life uses, I also write prayers in my Bible and I add pages between the pages for extra space for notes
I love artisan bibles but they are pricey. If I needed a Bible and didn’t want to spend a lot of money, I’d check out some thrift stores. They always have bibles.
I also love reading my Bibles I have a world Bible school study edition Bible and a catholic life Bible and a children Bible as well can I write in them with a regular pencil or a BIC Round Stic M pen sending you lots of love and prayers for you and you're family

hi i just got a new bible today from bibles for America it is the new testament recovery version a LSM version question what does that stand for i dont know
Hi! I don’t know much about that translation, I just looked up what LSM stands for and it is for Living Stream Ministry but I would pay really close attention to what is in it to make sure that it doesn’t contradict other trusted translations like NKJV, ESV, or NIV. I tried to do a little research on the translation, and many websites say that it is a really literal translation to where some words are meaningless in English. I hope this helps!
What a refreshing video! 🌺May God continue to bless you as you walk with Jesus in your studies. You may want to purchase an Amplified Study Bible at some point and read it next to your King James Version. I think you will get a lot out of it and the Holy Spirit will assist you as you continue in your studies. NEW SUBSCRIBER. 🎉
Good ideal I' m getting a Bible like that. My friend you might enjoy coffee and bible time with Ellen (Mentor Momma,) Ashley and Taylor) check them out
Idk tbh. I just export them from the editing app then upload them onto Yt. But I have noticed that the quality wasn’t that good with other videos that I uploaded
you need to make sure those new bibles have the same as the KJV some of the new ones add to the word and some are missing scriptrues Revelation 22:18 also Deuteronomy 4:2 read KJV luke 4:8 compare NIV,NAS, NWT IS OMITTED Lets try KJV John 6:47 in the NIV and NAS, NWT THEY ommited ON ME they take from the word of God
Did the new translations omit or did the KJV add them? All my Bibles have the “omitted verses” in the footnotes. So in reality they are not omitted, they are referenced in the footnotes.
@@Mrsg730 ommitted from other versions. Not sure if all have them in the footnotes, but I can tell you, if I look up the verse using my phone and I look at the other version, there is no footnotes. I always like to compare different versions anyway, but would make the kjv my main bible.
It's beautiful how the Bible we spend time with becomes the Bible we love.
I have a study bible and I love it and it's my primary Bible.
Edit: now I have a journaling Bible NIV and I’m in loove with it.

The Holy Spirit helps you to understand the Bible. And the KJV is honestly only at a 7 th grade reading level.
