I'm gonna be AFK starting tomorrow for about a week. I have 3 GTA videos in the backlog, so no breaks in uploads, but i'll not be very active in the comments or anywhere else. When i come back, i will be finishing GTA and making an Omegacutte. Regular Quiplash is also on pause as we've reached a nice stopping point - the middle of 2018. I will make a couple of "best of 2017" compilations, update my overlays, counters and spreadsheets, and then come back to normal "research" coverage of NLSS Quip segments. After GTA, as i've said, i will return to Ultimate Chicken Horse.
"It's not that hard to be a physicist, you just have to get a degree in physics" as a really shitty physics student i can confirm this is true. 1.5 more years😬
The gunburger bit sounds a lot like they're emulating that Ram Ranch song, but with burgers instead of gay cowboys. If I'm correct this is from quite a bit earlier though.
Bear doesn't seem to understand how degrees of separation work. One degree of separation would be the manufacturer, making the Baja Men two degrees of separation.
@@JigglePhysics3000 I suppose it depends how Baer counts Justin. Perhaps he identifies so closely with him (because of the NLSS) that he forgot that link. Or maybe I forgot a link somewhere. (Or maybe both?)
@@benjaminmiddaugh2729 I'm pretty sure that doesn't matter. It's about links in a network, and seeing as Baer and Justin's Label aren't acquainted (so they aren't connected in the network) we need the extra step of Justin in between them. That takes it to 6 degrees of separation. Edit: It would be two if he meant the degrees of separation between Justin and the Baja Men though. I don't recall if he said I or you "have one degree of separation to the Baja Men".
@@JigglePhysics3000 "That takes it to 6 degrees of separation." Uhh... Weren't we talking 3 degrees here? You're absolutely right. I was attempting to apply NLSS logic to appear correct even when I clearly made a mistake. My memory is that he said "I," but he was wrong either way. He was just more wrong than I initially gave him credit for.
@@benjaminmiddaugh2729 Yeah, 3 not 6, mb. I always wonder about the parameters concerning this theory though. When would something be considered a connection between two nodes in the network? It isn't really defined on the wikipedia page but generally stated as "friends" or social contacts. I wonder where the lines are drawn because if the hypothesis is simply that there are a maximum of six degrees of separation between every person on the earth, defined as people actually having a relationship one would usually describe as "being friends", is far more impressive than it being defined as "simply having had social contact with the other person". I'd be pretty amazed if it turns out to be the prior condition.

Less than three you. OwO
I didn't expect you could catch up to Quippers so quickly, and with a proper recount no less. Your dedication is admirable. You deserve your break.
