I don't mean this establishment but in general I've been looking into buying a classic car who would pay these prices you could just buy a a new Corvette or any new sports / muscle car with all the modern bells and whistles and still have money left over

Sorry for being picky. But that's a coupe, not a sedan (0:32). Maybe, the words had a different meaning in 1947.
It said Sedan on the plaque and on their website, so i went with that. You could be correct and they might have meant different things back then.
To much money
I see the appeal, but i think they are becoming overpriced gas gusslers. You can forget about them being daily drivers.
Your price 4to 5 more than new
You can buy some of these cars in lesser condition and bring the same cars to a similar condition saving many thousands of dollars. Try and sell these cars you bought at this dealership yourself and you will lose thousands of dollars.
Maybe, if you have the skills and tools to do the work yourself. Even then you've already invested thousands in those tools and skills.
Watch what you buy. Purchased my truck from them, had it shipped to my home. Lost count on the damaged, Lost, not working, missing parts on the truck. Buyer beware
