Thanks very much. This is a proper how-to video. The first video I watched on replacing the Stylus batteries had a guy saying "...next I'll do this" and then it cut to "this" all done, with no shots of him actually doing the work. I always appreciate a thoughtful maker video! Kudos.
Absolutely right Marsh, that is one sweet tool. I dread the day when the battery goes on mine, but thanks to you I know what to do. Wish they would come back on the market for sure. Thanks for the lesson. Be well.
After my experience with that tool, I will NEVER ever buy any other tool without a physical power switch. Once I was using it and suddenly it started running at full speed and I had no way to lower the speed or turn it off. After a while it began to heat up so much that the plastic of the casing began to melt. The supposed security mechanism that you mention in the video, was never activated. After many attempts to turn it off, the only thing that worked was forcing the locking pin, destroying the tool in the process.

Great video. I have one and, while the battery seems ok (it will run a while), it dies as soon as any pressure is put on whatever bit is in it (i.e., it has no torque). And I am not trying to use it for high torque applications, just your usual dremel stuff. Do you have any ideas about this? Thanks!

@@paulchapasr, it could be risky but maybe try heating up the nut a bit? It might expand just enough to ease the pressure on the threads.
