Thanks Morgan. You can actually use the same sounds that I am using in this video to call cows, spikes, & small bulls in as well.Elk are very social and will come in to investigate these calls. Cows & small bulls will come to standard contact mews and chirps. They will also come readily to the more aggressive, excited calls that I demonstrate. I've also had cows come right in to aggressive bugling since they perceive you as being a dominant bull. Best of luck & good calling to you!

I need you to post a video on how to get a spiker or a cow, i know you are used to going after big bulls, but my family usually hunts smaller elk because the meat is more tender. and i need to know how if we go later this year.

Hi, im curious if you still prefer the grunt tube or if you have tried the wapiti whacker or Threat? Do this work in tandom with the same reeds and still create the same optimal back pressure? Thanks.

Thanks Mike, I have not tried the Wapiti Whacker but I do love the Threat tube. For 2019, we are coming out with a grunt tube for my series called the "Rogue." It's similar to the Threat and I know you'll love it! Should be out by February or March.

I have a question. I am getting the hang of the Locator Reed and the Estrus reed calls of yours. But when I use the Closer Reed it is really cracking on the latex. Is there something I could be doing wrong.?

Thanks for your question. Since the Closer Reed is a V cut double, you will want to make sure to get the latex damp and then press the V cut reed with your tongue down into the other latex reed. This should help. Also, the Closer typically takes a little longer to break in than the Challenge & Estrus Excited reeds do. Best of luck & good hunting!
