The Third Sister had no idea how close she came to stumbling upon The Big Secret. I believe she has zero idea Leia is Anakin's but she knows about Obi-Wan and Bail being friends and how they worked together during the war. She's so fixated on Kenobi that she misses everything else. I'm looking forward to knowing more about her.
Yeah, and the "He fought beside her father" line was a clever double meaning. Reva was talking about Bail being her father. But we know that she's also correct in an entirely different way that she has no idea about.
“They failed you. They abandoned you.” That’s exactly why Reva has a problem with Kenobi. He couldn’t see that Anakin had fallen to the dark side until it was pointed out to him. He failed the Jedi. He wasn’t there to help pick up the pieces after Order 66. He abandoned all of the kids that managed to survive. He abandoned her. She’s got some grudges going on.
"General Kenobi. Years ago you served my father in the Clone Wars..." That's the connection Reva is talking about when she says Kenobi fought beside Leia's father. I love so MUCH that we are getting to see the way Leia grew up, how intelligent she was and how loving a family she had. But omg, it just makes it hit that much harder when you realize how much she lost when Tarkin destroyed Alderaan. We focus on Luke's grief over losing Ben in Episode IV, but we are never given a moment to see what Leia went through when she lost EVERYTHING. It's so heartwarming to see the bond she had with Bail and with Breha. I love the little touch of when Leia says that no one would miss her at the reception that Breha says "*I* would miss you." 💕
I loved seeing Leia…Leia definitely has Anakin’s affinity for droids & Padme’s independence…as well as both Anakin & Padme’s stubbornness….They’re definitely setting up a redemption for Reva.
Great reaction as always!. We all agree that Ewan´s and the child actress on Leia´s role acting are both superb. It´s an amazing starting point. Obi Wan´s sadness breaks my heart. My best regards!.
Reva doesn't know about Leia. That would be a MASSIVE continuity error. She knows that Obi-Wan and Bael were good friends during the Clone Wars, and she just had his daughter kidnapped to get to Obi-Wan without actually realizing how important she really is.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure Third Sister was referring to Bail when she mentions that Obi-Wan fought with Leia's "father" in the Clone Wars. Didn't they go on a couple of missions together during the Clone Wars Series? Have to check on that...
Random thought on your theory , maybe Reva felt betrayed , if she knew Kenobi was the one to recalibrate the message , warning Jedi not to return, thus preventing help from coming , as she gets trained as inquisitor
When teared up seeing little Leia, I was sitting here talking to the screen like "Yes Omni, same"! It was a welcomed surprise! Great reaction as always!🙋🏾♀️🙋🏾♀️
The Third Sister doesn’t know that Leis is force sensitive. Just kidnapping Kenobi’s friend’s daughter to lure him out of hiding. Besides the Organas are royalty and senators and would have to publicly announce their adoption.
You are the first one I have seen who said RIGHT AWAY that one of the padawan kids might be Reva. I absolutely believe that Third Sister/Reva was one of the kids from the beginning shot. Her hatred of Kenobi--and the fact that she somehow knows that Anakin and Vader are the same person, when that should be a huge secret--makes me think she was one of the kids from the Temple and she lived past O66. I think she blames Kenobi for failing with Anakin and allowing him to turn to the Dark Side.
She likely also blames Kenobi for turning tail and running and going into hiding while leaving all the surviving kids like her to fend for themselves and be captured or tortured or killed. It's why her line about how the Jedi failing and abandoning people is really meaningful because it's how she feels. Kenobi failed and abandoned everyone, including her. That's why she says she wants to get what she's owed: revenge
Loved this episode!! Reva was there at the temple in the beginning of this episode. It’s why she says the Jedi will abandon you. She feels like the surviving Jedi like Obi Wan abandoned her and the other surviving younglings that most likely became Inquisitors.
I love that let’s hope that happens what I did not like was that Reva knew vaders identity and a slot the grand inquisitor idk how to feel about that because he’s alive in rebels and they are cannon🤷🏻♂️
@@BWasHere354 it’s either one or 2 things. Grand Inquisitor gets healed in a bacta tank or he’s not that same Grand Inquisitor from Rebels. Remember he was a Pau’an that was a Jedi Temple Guard and there were more than one of those, so it’s feasible that other Pau’an Jedi Temple Guards were converted to the dark side. But most likely he’ll heal in a tank.
I think that Reva is one of the kids that survived Order 66. My theory for now is that she blames Obi-Wan for Anakin's fall, or for the fact that he "abandoned" her and the survivors, and that's why she's obsessed with finding him. I loved that we got to see the relationship between Leia and her parents. Thanks for the reaction!
Loved your Reaction This Episode was Great 9.5/10 If it feels soo good to see Ewan come Back as obi wan Kenobi. The young actress who plays young Leia is soo cute and Adorable Reva is Awesome and badass i enjoyed her
Your analysis of Leia's personality was very good. I really liked something about this episode, that I had never considered, was the cousin's teasing about her being adopted. I never thought Leia knew she was adopted from an early age. This information must have been added by either an adoptee or an adopter. It is a huge influence on a child's personality. When Luke asks Leia if she remembers her mother, they hadn't created that part of the story, so she says she didn't remember much because her mother had died when she was very young. Now in this new narrative, knowing from an early age that she was adopted changes the perspective. So they won't kill her mother on this show as expected, will they?
I wonder what made the grand inquisitor turn to the dark side? I know he wasn't a child when he was recruited from the remnants of the jedi, i like that hes in this show
When you think about what he's seen, especially with that whole Ahsoka trial thing, he likely didn't take much to be turned, especially if Sidious played on the whole Jedi hypocrisy and dogma that failed them all. Grand Inquistor was a witness to the Jedi's failure and flaws.
Crazy how you see the toy from a new hope and I’m convinced where it cuts off for the younglings they run into Anakin cause that’s the same spot where they died
@@Persephone_Personified in episode 3 you see the younglings dead on that bridge where it cuts off you can tell cause that 2 statues are the same in both scenes
From the 2 episodes I’ve seen I really like Reva she’s so completely unhinged Second sister (from the game) was similar to Reva but she was more Vengeful than completely psycho
I’ve seen a lot of people criticizing it so far, I think it’s great. I think reva is supposed to be really annoying, and I think vader is gonna end up killing her in the end for it. My only criticism so far is how does she know who anakin is, I’m assuming this will be explained though. I’m waiting to pass judgement on her character until we see the whole story.
Agreed they placed two big plot holes in episode 2 which i hope will be explained later one. First one reva killing the grand inquisitor considering he dies in Rebels which takes 4-5 years after this. And how does she know anakin in vader considering only a handful of people know that vader is anakin.
I think she may be one of the younglings at the opening scene, or at least, that feels like how they're setting it up. But yes, I do hope her knowing Anakin is Vader plays into her character story and motivation since only a few people in the Empire were supposed to know about it. The only way I think she could've is if she was indeed present during the Temple siege and saw Anakin himself leading the 501st.
@@Themandalorian935 I'm guessing that either the grand inquisitor we see in Rebels is the same species but a different guy which would be a little weird but it's passable. But it could be that survives his wound. I guess we'll see.

Luke on the other hand spent decades in the minds of people as this glorious saintly figure who brought about peace in the galaxy and is perfect, there were no 3 movies and animated stories to tell the story of his fall, so a story where that happens was always going to be difficult for people to let go of their preconceived notions of who Luke should be.
