It depends on the BOP and calculus present. If there is no BOP, you may score it code 0. In some cases plaque present even in normal condition without BOP, it can be healthy with code 0 as well. If there is BOP, you may score it code 1, most of the time BOP accompanied with plaque present. If there is calculus present, it is code 2. The presence of calculus may interfere with the accuracy of BPE charting, you may remove the calculus prior to the BPE charting in the case of heavy calculus deposition.

Hi dear...im question is for a healthy gum it says no pocket is precent but prob should also go inside gum about 3mm deep?
Is it important to perform BPE on all teeth ? Can we use only index teeth?
