Optimism and Coinbase have joined forces to be the first two L2 networks to make up the SUPERCHAIN. Powered by Optimism's OP stack, the Superchain is a horizontally-scaled collection of L2 networks built on top of ethereum. If successful, it could offer unlimited blockchain-based scaling which in turn would enable novel applications that could never have never been built with blockchain previously.

Hi, very interesting but when you say blockchain always on... What happen when they don't validate? Because the chain is stopped as many times before with eth, sol or even arbitrum witch is just a layer2
