Frankly I think going for a walk while at the same time listen to an audio book tends to cancel out the positive effect of fresh air and nature around you. I'm hooked all day in front of a computer screen and financial markets while checking my mobile phone to not miss anything but when I go outside for long walks after work during nighttime I just walk, relax and enjoy the silence and fresh air.

I've struggled with the same thing. My push for constant productivity in listening to audiobooks may be defeating the purpose. Scratch that tip! ;)

Some people with kidney disease develop kidney pain if they consume turmeric. Ashwagandha is essential for me for depression and stops the crackling that I have in my brain.

I have be a life long player of chess (basically a war game) and in its simplest form it is pattern recognition. Once you link the patterns together you have success. I think there is pattern recognition in investing.... Rev and Earnings Trends, cash flow trends, debt trends, chart patterns etc. When you get one that links all these it really gets me excited and the decision is so easy.

I've never thought of that, but a great point! By the way, if you play on Chess.com you should friend me. My user name is wink89

Could you explain mind mapping? I’m not sure what that is, and it sounds interesting. I am interested in trying several of these techniques.

I think getting enough sleep is number one for me. If I have less than 8 hrs, I have brain bog that feels fine until the next day, when I actually wake up rested and I can actually think properly.

I think you missed an adequate amount of sleep. Walking or running work well for me for stress reduction.

Probably the best “supplement” you can take for your brain is to fast regularly and when you eat try to stick to a keto diet, so you improve your brain function, your energy and most importantly you’ll save money 💰 😊 👍
(If you want go the extra mile besides playing chess try to play piano 🎹)

It is beyond comprehension why in the comments section people are inserting other securities sales or so called broker people on this site. The most successful investor Warren Buffet says crypto is junk!
Now to Nathan’s question: best idea is writing things down. 2nd best is journaling.

It's L-threonine, not L-theonine, but otherwise a decent departure from your usual subject matter.

Could you please explain mind mapping? Your graphic with the possible definition or explanation went by really quickly. Even slowing it down to .25x speed wasn't enough to read the graphic.
