    Sorry maybe a silly question but whats the use off using the balun connection over the traditional bnc connection? . Im confused

      The traditional bnc connectors are used with the coaxial cables. I used in the video UTP cable so the preferred way is to use Video Baluns.

    Brother can we connect 2 hd cctvs (non ip) in single cat6 wire and then connect them to dvr?

    Does the picture quality improve if I use a video balloon instead of a regular cable?

    • @PoseidwnTech
      @PoseidwnTech  2 месяца назад

      You are not going to notice any difference in video quality, but by using a UTP cable you can install not only analog cameras but also IP Cameras.

    What would happen if you connect 4 coax cameras across one single UTP cable? Each analog balun uses one pair of wires and a UTP cable has four pairs so, theoretically, one could use one UTP cable to connect four cameras to the DVR, no?
    What is your opinion on this?

      It depends on the length of the cable. But don't forget that you need at least one pair for the DC power.

      To do that you need IP Cameras.

    Is this really cheaper like original IPs?

      Do you mean the cameras or the baluns? The cameras cost 25-35% less that the IP cameras.
