I’ve watched this duet several times and every time, I’m always hopefully that Courtney can hit those big $ notes! However, I must admit, it’s impossible to out-sing or to even just match Conchita’s vocal power! It’s also very endearing how Conchita helps pitch every first note!❤️

Oh, stop criticizing Miss COURTNEY ACT!! She was pretty damn good, just a little off, but it's hard to do just one song like that as a guest and deliver, Conchita was flawless her voice was already warmed up good.

I don't think Courtney is a bad singer or sings poorly live, I just think this key is too high for her.
she can go higher than this and is usually better when she is higher, the issue is that she cant sustain it for an entire song
If she had sung that song when she did "Bring me a man" with Alaska and Willam she would had killed it. I don´t think the key is to high I do think that the range might be the hardest.
One thing I noticed was that on the words High and cry Courtney didn't open her mouth wide enough to make the word, whereas Conchita has no problem with a wide open mouth to enunciate properly.

No it's not tone deafness. She can hit notes but it goes off kilter. She can hear herself. I've heard her sing songs with lower pitches and she performed superbly. It's the pitch that's a problem
