Im still amazed how nobunaga can completly stop masamunes and yukimuras movement from falling out of space with just one hand at his sword , still talk after getting hit with the remaining force and still only suffering a small wound while his castle got obliterated

Wow. This is one of the few anime where i actually kinda like the english dub.....not too shabby.....

Keiji Maeda reminds me of Zidane Tribal from Final Fantasy IX, but it's really only his voice and the way he acts.

It's old and corny, but I'm still going to say it. Haters gonna hate.
I actually like the JA, they pretty much picked well know seiyuu for the game and most of them reprised their roles in the show. The english dub is top notch, even Johny Yong Cheese is awesome. Hes Yukimura Sanada in 3 different franchises for a reason. Also English Nobunaga, Motochika, Maedas/Matsu > Japanese Femshin, Yukimura, Kasuga, Kojuro = Japanese, Japanese for the rest. Though I like McCollum as a VA its just japanese Masamune is pure gold.

I have seen Baccano! and the dub was amazing also that anime give you a good example how dubs can be better then subs. Hetalia as is good example as well, because the accents where done and executed perfectly! OFC people will complain that BASARA is better subbed and there is nothing wrong whit that because its set in Japan and despite the hard work of the voice actors some things just cant be translated perfectly without loosing some of its Japanese feeling that you get in its original.

One, McCollum says YuKImura. Also if you watch the BR Specials he says he uses an "American" accent because of Kazuya Nakai use of Engrish. It's on purpose to give him the more outsider image. Read a book and learn about Masamune and why they gave him these motifs in both languages.

so im aware this is an 8 year old comment but if you share this oppinion still can you explain why it really matters that much....shouldnt is a strong word is all im saying. i do think dub can take away from an experience but i wouldnt go as far as to say you shouldnt watch dub.

Can't say I like the English dub as much as the original Japanese, but most of the voice actors are pretty awesome nonetheless.

The japanese dub has the japanese honorifics and titles and the strange names make sense however I like the English Dub more actually becase it shows sides of the character that was restrained by the Japanese dub, here Masamune completely sounds like a reckless badass, at times a petulant child and overall motorcycle gang leader or something where in Japanese dub, he sounded like a cool character. It all depends on how you see it...

I watched only a few episodes subbed and for some awesome reason I have memorized all of Masamunes Engrish line..."PUT YA GUNS ON! "..and lets party. I will never stop using that in my everyday conversations XD...Oh Date what have you done.

How can you bash it just because a little error like that...If you haven't noticed Date doesn't say things pinpoint perfect. So him sayin Yuki's name like that isn't unlikely at some points. Geez, you act like it's a crime...if you don't like it then don't watch it, it's as simple as that.
