What if on parameter rayleigh corr, i couldnt select many bands but only one band?

What is the difference between what you just demonstrated and Sen2cor atmospheric correction?

Nice question, AFAIK, rayleigh, just like its name suggest, it is only correcting the rayleigh scattering element of the irradiance signal path to be more represent the condition in the bottom before reaching the surface, it is does not address the water vapour like sen2cor can address,
I think the result between rayleigh and sen2cor wont be much different visually because rayleigh component can take 50 to 90 percent of atmospheric effect to irradiance ( especially in the vnir spectrum which heavily affected),

@@GEO2004 Can we need to do the atmospheric correction procedure using Sen2Cor as well after we implement the Rayleigh scattering correction? Or will it affect the output differently?

If you plan to use sen2cor, rayleigh correction is not needed

    Thanks for the video.
I've been getting this error message every time I attempt the process: "can't find the closest max value of NaN"
    I await your response please.
    Thanks

There are two possible sources of the error you get.
      1. Your tile is not a full scene tile (there are no-data value in your imagery).
      2. Random error/bug introduced in the recent version of the s2tbx,
I regularly update my esa-snap installation, and I dont get problem like yours, so may be it is your data situation is like I explained in the first point.

      @@GEO2004 Thanks for your response.
The first point is the case; the tile is not a full scene tile.
There is no full scene tile covering my AOI.
What can I do as I need to carry out the correction on the imagery acquired?
Your answer will be of great help.
      Thanks

You can try the workflow in other area that covers the full tiles, if it is working then you should look for another options, like using other correction methods like sen2cor

@@GEO2004 It worked for a full tile image.
Have you made a video where sen2cor was used?
Kindly send a link to any material that will be of help.
      Thanks

So it is just like what I am predicted. The tool cant handle nodata pixel at this moment, guess we should wait for some releases before they start to fix this.
I didnt have a plan yet to test the sen2cor, I am more excited to do deglint operation right now, but how about you looking around. May be there are other channels that show how to do sen2cor

Hello! How do you retrieve the rayleigh reflectance value?

    • @GEO2004
      @GEO2004  3 года назад

I never consider rayleigh correction result as reflectance value, I think you can go with sen2cor if you want to get standardized reflectance value
