@@Zadrian.T yeah, there were plenty of men that could’ve sang childish gambino’s part and the other songs I mentioned. Luke James, Avery Wilson, vedo, lucky daye, Miguel, ne yo, bj the Chicago kid, the list goes on. Yeah I guess if he wanted all women then that’s okay but I was disappointed that tinashe messed up that nice and slow performance.

The dance that Childish Gambino and Keke Palmer was doing is from Usher's music video "You Don't Have To Call" if you were to remembered that iconic move. It's funny that you say Kiki is giving you TLC vibes when she played Chili in a biopic movie.
FUN FACT: Teyana Taylor and Victoria Monet was paying homage to the iconic Usher and Beyoncè performance on Usher's Truth Tour concert special on Showtime or HBO in 2004. Summer Walker is also one of Usher's artist that he did discover alongside Justin Bieber a while back.

Did y'all forget Usher got into it with Chris Brown when Chris verbally attacked and tried to hurt Teyana Taylor at Usher's skate party last year? Usher had to check Chris for wanting to put hands on Teyana. Ain't no way in hell they were going to allow Chris on the same stage with Teyana performing too. The R&B guys aren't popping like the women are to mainstream Black audiences/social media. I'm sure the BET execs tried having folks who are in the news currently and will bring eyes. Keke is a hilarious choice b/c of her man being a lame, insecure incel. I would've loved more guys in the tribute other than Donald Glover. Marsha could've been left out for someone else too. All the guys you named (other than CB) were cool choices though. Who knows, maybe Usher wanted women to do the tribute for him.

I think the thing is that none of the men in R&B aside from Chris and Miguel, they can’t actually perform and entertain 🤷🏾♂️ the women in this tribute hold that down pretty well with entertaining and performing! Chris is on tour so schedule wise, he’s not coming! Plus Usher asked for this specifically 🔥 Omarion & Tyrese are lacking now performing wise so Usher definitely wasn’t thinking about him, most of them are washed up, Usher wanted something that would bring entertainment!
