I can’t believe I just found out you can do something akin to crocheting with bands! Now I have to watch all of your videos so I can learn to make the shapes I hope I can get. Where do you usually buy bulk bands at? I’ve always wanted to order from the cheap sites but I’m scared the quality will be terrible. (I love making things and loomigurumi will be my newest obsession!) I’ve also never seen metal hooks, where do you find those at?
I usually get my bands from Michael's or the Rainbow Loom website. Michael's has these boxes of bands I really like. They are usually around 16 dollars but its a lot of bands. I can get them for cheaper sometimes because of coupons and sales. Michael's also has metal Rainbow Loom hooks but a crochet hook (I like the size of 3.5mm) works just as well. I wouldn't recommend buying cheap bands. Bands usually break over time and if you get them for cheap they fall apart a lot quicker. I pretty much only use Rainbow Loom bands and I have creations that are from 10 years ago. I hope this helps :)
