Informative video! got a scenario for you. My sister in law will be going to school in Seneca Markham Campus, my brother have an open employment visa, they have 4 kids (1) 16 yr old high school, (2) in Elementary & (1) toddler. Which part of Markham would be the most practical area to try to find an apartment. Considering schools as well as amenities & accessibility to public transportation. Budget maybe about CAD$1500-1800 (short term or long term) Moving this November from the Philippines. I would really appreciate any input. Thank you
Hi there, all neighborhoods in markham have schools that are close by. To be closer to all amenities, and your sister-in-law’s school, I would suggest being in cedarwood/Milliken/unionville neighborhoods. Your bigger issue is the budget to rent. Unfortunately the rental market in Canada has sky rocketed in the past year. For this family, you will need at least a 3 bedroom unit and that could cost $2000 + (not including utilities). Hope this helps! Have them call or email me if they need any further guidance.
Nice Video and beautiful and peaceful place...
