Aah the eighties..... I lived on WSOU .... the only channel worth a damn.... SOU used a Xenon guitar riff for there station identification.... That caught my interest in the band. I quickly became a big fan. The guitarist is awesome, don't know his name but WOW.... Thank you so much for taking the time to post these videos....
I dont know why this band didnt blow the FFF up. I, 54 and still remember this band from when i was a teen driving listening to WSOU and hearing them come on and was like WTF!!! Loved them then. Always wondered what happened to them, pipes on this guy, the guitarists and the drummer ….all complete talent, sheer talent....hope they went on with their gift in music. Xenon*******
"You've got nothin' to prove, and nowhere to be, c'mon pretty baby won't ya stick with me"....absolutely tremendous guitar work, thanks for uploading this.
I have my doubts about this being from 1983. I believe their first EP tape came out in 1985, and Americas New Design (which this song is from), came out in 1989. My guess is more like 1987 to 1989 on this, just guessing though.
I don't remember SOU using XENON but I do remember them using Steeler with Malnsteen and the Biohazard in the early 90's but loved XENON back in the day.
This was def 87 it was a showcase for them and I forget the name of the place but a band named Dog Voices was the house band for this location for years. Def not Studio 1 played there enough to know. This wasnt Club Bene either nor the place on Rt 9 that closed down. I was here how sad is that. This band had the sauce. Joey was a lil snoozy as a front man but being a singer myself I didnt think so, however he always delivered. Guitar work is sick.
"Fireside" in Denville, NJ was the place where Voices/Dog Voices was the house band for years, played there as a cover band many times in the mid 90's. Loved these guys and had the chance to see them a few times. I miss the late 80's early 90's!
@@seventhfoo that's correct. Fireside in Denville. Thank you that was torturing me lol. What was your band name?? I played out w a band Badd Press originals and then originals and covers w Capone.
You can also tell it's 87 or 88 because the singer Joey is wearing a ripped E-Z-O shirt with the E-Z-O album typeface logo, and that was 1987. E-Z-O, another band SOU promoted. Flashback, Heartattack!!! Ha! I was too young to see this live but I'm stunned at the true-to-sound live performances. Super talented band, awesome stuff.
Let this be a lesson. Never, ever take naked pictures of yourself. You never know where they'll wind up. I believe this would be sometime around 1987, maybe 1988. After America's New Design, before Simple.
If they woulda ditched the female bassist, they were in like Flynn, they wouldnt do it and their career was over. I applaud them for not selling out to the record company.

Singer/Frontman is Joey Fiamingo not Tony, that’s the drummer
@@justice_productions_ I know it's Joey but I always say Tony for some stupid reason. Thanks.
