For several years but moreso in the past 9 months, I had been praying and fasting about something I needed that was extremely important to me. I made declarations, affirmations, sowed seed, made vows with Him and pledged a sacrificial seed for the matter (the biggest seed I've ever pledged in my life). I trusted God to come through for me. I placed my confidence in Him. His Word built my faith as I also meditated on His promises.
However.......to my greatest disappointment, after all I had done....God said no. You cannot begin to imagine the heartbreak and great disappointment. I cried, questioned God why, got mad for a minute, was confused, then the sorrow sipped in. I felt broken and didn't understand why after doing what His Word said, He would say no.
BUT even so, my Lord, with tears in my eyes I still trust You, rely and have confidence in You. I will still keep the vows I made and pay the pledge I made even though you said no.
Though extremely disappointed I will still praise and worship You. You know best, my life is in Your hands 😞
