i remember back in the days when tekken 5 was in my local arcade, i threw one jeton after another playing with raven doing the Salamander Move at 4:15 , this move and this character is pure nostalgia for me

When Raven was introduced in Tekken 5, me like other people went WOW!!!!!The daywalker.. i just don't understand why blade hasn't made it to a Soul Calibur game.I mean his name says it all ...BLADE.Soul Calibur has had cross universe characters added like Assassins Creed,The Witcher,Spawn,Yoda & Vader(Who suited it perfectly because of the use of sabers.)But no Marvel Blade.The movie that started the MCU!!!! I weep in my corner holding my stomach in despair. "Help me Obi Wan Kenobi,...you're my only hope."

Just spin your input. A 3/4 circle motion starting from down, up around then to the opponent. It's one fluid motion.

So Raven's design is based on Marvel comic book character called Blade. I also know every Raven's secret move. What about you Tekken fans?

I think he's rather reminiscent of Blade indeed.

@@tonitoniversus Even fighting games directors follow up comic book storylines. You remember Bayman from DOA? His ending in DOA3 showed that his parents were killed from shot of helicopter when he was young (Team Ninja didn't explained what happend next though). So he had similar situation like Batman from DC comics. But the difference is that Batman is a billionare and a hero while Bayman was a soldier and an assassin.

@@bart4483 I'm pretty sure there was someone over at Namco who said Blade's look is a coincidence. I call cow crap but who knows and who cares. Down + LP + RP repeatedly (maybe 5-6 times) gets you to his secret move faster.
