Im using Retroarch. I know where the save files go but how do I use both files at the same time to swap out the DLC CAWs like you are doing in the video? Does it have anything to do with the file extensions?
@@Thoraiden1 So to preface, I'm not familiar with Retroarch, but if it's set up like project 64, the .sra should go or replace your main save file (this one has the "1995" guys and costume updates. The .mpk should go or replace where your controller pak files go. Again, assuming retroarch is similar, you should be able to swap wrestlers between the main save and the pak.
Wait so did you create this mod? Someone is selling this on cartridge and I was going to buy it off eBay but I was curious if these DLCs were updated on the cartridge for sale. If you knew about it. And is there any update changing the ropes to red, white, and blue???
@@NotAGarage No sir the romhack was created by @GMspectre; I am not selling anything. I created these CAWs as an unofficial supplement to the work. I cannot vouch for anyone selling this on the web and would use discretion. Also, as far as the ropes go, all my research thus far indicates there's no way to change the colors.

The main thing is to find the save folder (usually titled 'GameData')that you're Emulator is using. Once you find that (or manually set it in the Emulator storage settings), you will need to paste the .sra and .mpk into that folder. If you see a bunch of other saves you're probably in the right place. Next you will need to rename the .sra and .mpk to match the save that's already there (assuming you've already played some, if not, play at least once so the Emulator creates an .sra.) Delete any old .sra or .mpk files that were previously there. (This should all be done through a file explorer app). After that reboot the game fresh (don't use your previous autosave), and go into Superstar Data. You should see the DLC characters there and be able to move them at will. Hope this helps.
Everdrive 64 X7 doesn't work with .sra saves. They become .srm saves instead. Can you make the .sra work with Everdrive 64 X7? Also doesn't work with Delta emulator for iPhone.
Even with the converted files to SRM, it doesn’t seem to want to work on Everdrive. The Everdrive is saying the Save File is loaded, but then once you’re in the game none of it is there.
Update - I have it working on my Everdrive. Use the Flash Cartridge function on that site. Select Nintendo 64. It will default a name for the output - change the suffix from SRA to SRM and set the size to 32 (same as original file)

In the meantime you can try, in the Emulator, going to (from the first screen when you open it, should show all your games) 1. Settings 2. Data -Game data storage location: EXTERNAL -External game data location: (folder name here). You can change this location to wherever you like. I suggest using file explorer to make a folder specifically for all your n64 junk. -Use flat game data (check this box) 3. Once you have that set, you'll want to restart the Emulator and play at least a match on the game so it creates save files in that Gamedata folder. Close down Emulator... 4. Use file explorer to replace the .sra and .mpk files. Be sure to rename the DLC saves to exactly how the emulator names the saves for the game. 5. Close out file explorer. 6. Restart Emulator. 7. Restart game; don't use autosave or "resume."
One more tip. When you replace the .sra and .mpk, go ahead and not only delete the old .sra and .mpk, but also the game folder (should be a folder named after the game inside the Gamedata folder separate from all .sra and .mpk files.) Delete that before restarting.

Andre isn't in yet because he passed in early 1993 and hadn't wrestled in WWF since 90, so I felt his inclusion to be chronologically problematic....there may be a legends DLC in the future though...
