Karin, this might be the prettiest knit dress I have seen in a long time. It has shape without being too clingy. The bottom part is not too voluminous, shaping in the back, perfect neckline. And your fabric choice is so gorgeous. I love this dress.
Thanks so much for the link to this pattern. I have to ready-to-wear tops that have this feature of the back wrapping around to make princess seams in the front and they are both very flattering. I was thinking I would have to create my own copy of the garments, but this pattern is perfect!! I really enjoy your tutorials and sew-alongs - you are very pleasant to listen to and watch and are very knowledgeable. I've been sewing for over 50 years (I'm old!) but I still have learned new techniques from you. Thanks again.
I got the email for this pattern this morning. I looked at and thought, No, not real keen on that. The image in the email really wasn’t appealing, and went to delete it. But then I suddenly thought, wait! Let me see what Karina does with it. Now i’m glad i waited 😄
so cute Karina it looks lovely on you i cant get enough of your sewing u are so easy to understand and you are so pleasant and your love of sewing comes out very clear
Really beautiful Karina! I know you made that skirt yourself it is sooo lovely! Please consider teaching us how to make one ourselves! It is EVERYTHING!
I rely like what you did with the plaid on the bias I'd love to show this to friends and have them admire it too, but I don't actually have local sewing friends!
The line art for the top doesn't look particularly attractive to me, but seeing what you were able to make has convinced me to purchase the pattern. I think fabric choice is paramount. Maybe the short dress could work as a nightgown, too (in the right fabric). Looks very comfortable. Thanks for showing us your versions.
I have had this pattern for quite a while but have never made it. I wasn’t overly impressed with the line drawings either but as soon as I can get to my printer I’m going for it. I have some ITY with stripes that would make an awesome dress.
Love how the plaid one looks. The pattern matching on the back seam is amazing! Beautifully done Karina. And then, I am always impressed with your makes. Thanks for this sewalong. This pattern has been in my stash a while and I'd forgotten about it.
Enjoyed your video. I've picked your sewing UT because your are so detail fixated. Just like I and now learning to get what I want is to BASTE by hand.
Karina, excellent as always. Question for you: would the all in one facing work for the tank version of this pattern? I really don’t like sewing neckbands and armhole bands. I’m going to purchase this pattern regardless (will use your affiliate link ). Thank you.
An all in one facing would not be straight forward because there is no side seam. I don’t think I’d like a seam where the princess seam is for the facing…it has to join somewhere.

I love the black, white and grey pattern work and the it fits perfectly.
Thank you so much 😀
The black, gray and white one is wonderfully amazing on the back... love it
Fabric choices make these so amazing! Love your videos. Thank you for the inspiration!!
You do such amazing work. It gives me joy to see it.
The plaid looks really good on you! I am going to try this for my daughter and granddaughter. As always Karina, your makes look great and so creative.
You took a simple garment and made it so high-class with your bias cuts and pattern matching! I'm very impressed. You're my favorite sewing guru now!
Glad it was helpful!
I like all 3. My favourite is the dress. Very pretty on you.
Thank you so much 😀
Love that awesome dress!!
Love the pattern play. What stands out is your flair for design and technical execution. You took a basic pattern and scaled it up. 👍❤️🇨🇦
I took ages to chose my fabrics😀😀

Thank you so much 😀. I put a lot of thought into my fabric choices.
Beautiful work with the plaid! I am very new to sewing and am inspired by your makes. Thank you for posting!
You are so welcome!
I love everything you made. The plaid is amazing but green is my favorite color. That dress fits so perfectly. Amazing job and thank you ❤️

Love the dress and the colours, looks great on, well done Karina.
Thank you so much 😀
I love watching you sew. Thanks for showing us this interesting construction.
You are so welcome!
Another awesome video. I love the irregular stripes.
Me too!

I don’t have local sewing friends either 😬
Love the stripe and plaid play! Thanks for the inspiration-I may try this with an ombre stripe I have in my collection.
That sounds fun!
Such good ideas to cut your fabric on the bias. It is very figure flattering 😊
Oh thank you!
I purchased this with your link, I love this one on you. Thank you for teaching xx

For sure it can be a night gown. I also want to make a top with a hoodie 😀

Great job as usual😘

You need to make it. It’s such a satisfying sew 😀
Beautiful line art. Looks lovely. I just got that pattern. ❤️
I hope you enjoy making it :)
Enjoyed your video. I've picked your sewing UT because your are so detail fixated. Just like I and now learning to get what I want is to BASTE by hand.
It makes a huge difference :)
You’re fabric choices always look amazing. Looking at your garments is so inspirational. 🖤
Glad you like them!
They all look fabulous! I think I need to try that pattern....
Oooo, Karina, I love knits! Knits are so forgiving. My imperfect figure needs forgiveness. 😂
Love it! I can hardly wait to get this pattern now!
Hope you enjoy it!
Would liverpool crepe work? I do not see many patterns that recommend this wonderful fabric.
I think Liverpool crepe is too heavy and thick for it. I see that type of fabric more suited to blazers and pencil skirts… even pants.

@@LiftingPinsandNeedles Thank you. I had forgotten about that lack of a side seam.
fogot to ask...What is the finished width of the neckbank you created?
3/4”. I didn’t create it though. It’s included in the pattern :)
Love all three garments, they are so stylish and fit you so well. What stitch length do you use when hemming knit garments with a twin needle?
3.5 works well for me :)
