    Thanks for your observations.I have lived in Africa for 60yrs now and have never felt the need to migrate to where I would lose my sanity, my ego ,my work life balance ! Its good info to those unmarried in mid life to go and pursue their dream careers but fellow senior men..please keep of. Stay where you feel the warmth of an African family set-up, great culture, happiness and freedom!!! Never go and live like a PUPPET.

      As an African American man, born and raised in America and having traveled to Africa four times, I'm losing my mind and going insane. Every time I think about the feeling of being in Africa where I felt 100 percent balanced, whole, natural and normal as opposed to feeling lost, rejected and unhealthy in America you I can say with a surity, have made the best decision. Now the only endeavor and goal I have and the reason to even be working, is to make it back to Africa for good, before I go mad in Babylon and die of a broken heart as a broken man. Peace and love.

Maybe take care of those back home.

      The feminisation of many 'developed' countries is a challenge to the working man, with feminists not content to dominate, but also to make sure men know their place in this new order.

    The big test question is: Would you stay with your husband if you won say 10 million dollars or you are guaranteed just enough money to live on? The answer to that question for majority of immigrant African women is a big NO! That is why government welfare system very quickly becomes a substitute for a husband. Welfare system destroys many marriages for the poor even in the US.

      💯 valid question! Like someone said, when many African men hit it big financially, the first thing they think about is how they can improve the quality of lives for their spouses and families but for some African women, such sudden personal financial increases may get them to start thinking "I don't really need my husband to do anything I need to do" and that thought eventually shows in their attitudes which over time, may ruin the family.

    The other reason is the Canadian dream is not what it used to be anymore. A lot has changed. There's been a huge influx of immigrants in Canada over the past few years. Thus getting a job as an immigrant is not as easy as it was before. Even for women. Also immigrants get paid less which makes it hard to get by, get an education and grow career wise. It doesn't matter what experience or education you've. Any education outside of the US or Canada doesn't count. You'll most likely start afresh, get certified and some work experience before you can get considered for a decent job. And don't forget the harsh weather. Their winter can be brutal esp for Africans who are used to a tropical climate

    • @jonathanonijingin3000
      @jonathanonijingin3000 9 месяцев назад +1

      Which country are immigrants being paid less than others? I don't know of any province where such happens in Canada. In Africa or Asia, is there no inflation? Everyone knows that all that we are seeing is as a result of COVID 19 which is even more impactful in Africa than in the US or Canada.What exactly are they going back to do now that they couldn't do before running out of those countries? Practically I know a few people that went back to Africa, only to run back! I knew of a man that left the US for Africa to start hotel business only to be kidnapped and killed!

May be 20 % fall in that category, the rest 80% have to sell tomatoes or phone chargers on bus stands. That is the harsh reality. So will you prefer a better paying job overseas or continue struggling home and always complain about no money. Easier said than done.

I am sure, Asia and Africa are not parts of where they are leaving to, because I don't know what exactly they are leaving Canada to do. A cleaner in Canada enjoys a better living standard in Canada than a manager in Africa or Asia. How can you leave security for insecurity? Does it make sense to leave a paid job for joblessness? Or they are leaving freedom for bondage, kidnapping and ritualism. Let's stop deceiving ourselves!

Common theme of ordinary public is they are broke and have no money. Unemployment is rampant and it is hard to make ends meet due to low income and rising cost of living( inflation). Most African currencies have devalued against dollar. Poverty has encouraged crimes, break ins and theft although poverty does not mean one should resort to stealing. Yes,how can you go to place where you claimed that you are being persecuted .just think .what you can do is to go to another country that is not far from where you come from and go through the land border and go in then go back to where you land initially and fly from there back to canada

I reapplied and I was given but it was withdrawn the second time due to a general reason that they have gotten the number of students they want from my Country. Now I have my Visa and I want to pursue my career in justice studies-correction. What should I do? Thank you for your time.

    I am a man, not from Africa but grew up in that general type of mindset. Men need to chill. We must adjust, 1. Make better choices for spouse, back in the day relationships were not held together by dialogue but society pressure, so nowadays you MUST be sure, your spouse is into you.
    . You must adjust, You do not go to the bush to hunt all day neither do you go to the farm. What on earth can ever be wrong with a man cooking a meal for his family if he is home all day? That doesn't mean females should drop thir responsibility, but it goes back to point one, choosing the right person for you.
    The fact that in Africa or wherever, people didn't divorce is not a testament to good marriages its just how society is setup for women to endure. No human is born with a mindset of enduring if they can escape. Truth is that in traditional societies, you don't know what you get in a spouse as people have to as I say endure.
    The issue therefor is not Canada, it is you , who you marry and the expectations that come with said marriage.

    • @gw7768
      @gw7768 10 месяцев назад

      Exactly. As a Kenyan I can confirm that the absence of divorce is assumed to mean a functional marriage. It's a lie. Most cannot even get out because of stigmatization and absence of support and alternatives!!!!
      African men also are socialized to go 'hunt' whilst the woman manages the household. With that mindset, they are unable to adapt to western culture that requires a shift and accomodation of all types of chores. Meanwhile,the African woman goes to western countries and discovers support and freedom. What do we expect!!!

      Are you sure about that? Men in the United States regardless of ethnic background are also leaving and seeking relation elsewhere because of the way the system is set up for men in United States; moreover, women in the Western world have unrealistic standards and would Divorce their husbands of many years for the smallest things.

      The issue is feminism which was created to destroy the family unit, so as to later introduce depraved agendas like what you are seeing now. It's evil.
