I was with the last speaker until she showed her pro abortion stance. Sad 😢
I didn’t hear her say anything about being pro-choice or abortion. She talked about how we can’t say one thing (abortion) is a sin and another is not (fraud) because both are sin.💁🏾♀️
@kkbattle3536 she framed it as though it was "wrong to tell women what to do with their bodies" - which is CLASSIC abortion defence speech.
@@majose7787 technically it is wrong to tell women what to do with their bodies, especially when you don’t tell men what to do with their bodies. First, it sends a contorted message. Secondly, God tells us what to do with our bodies. Once we make a decision to follow Him, we obey Him. So, the real work is not to legislate moral good, but win souls to Christ and let Him make them good. Remember, we live in a country that gives people freedom of religion. America is a country, not a church. We need to get to work!
@@kkbattle3536 we tell men what to do with their bodies ALL the time! We legislate against men murdering and raping - that's telling men what to do with their bodies. We have laws against public nudity (for men and women). That's telling MEN what to do with their bodies. Also, it's illogical to state that we shouldn't legislate moral good - every nation's legal code is an attempt to legislate moral good. The question is WHICH worldview will determine the morality. Your points don't follow logically.
@@majose7787 if you don’t agree with me, just say that. But don’t call it illogical, because it’s not. You have to bear in mind that while we do our best to legislate what’s morally good to determine lawfulness vs illegal activity, if it infringes on personal beliefs, personal freedoms and religious freedoms, there will be differences in opinions of how that looks in real life fore everybody. We have to wise about where we draw the line.
For men, the emphasis on improper sexual activity is less than when women are in similar and same positions. I don’t hear ministers or legislators taking about punishing men for fornicating, adultery and getting a woman pregnant out of wedlock. They may be charged with child support, but that’s it. The burden of a woman’s role is emphasized more, in my opinion.
