i came here because of my 1974 ST50 Dax bought now at 60y old dreaming me back to the 70 and 80`s when i was a teen ,but boy i had a lot of different cycles and Honda 3 wheelers in my life time and i have to say Honda XL,CB,CD,XR,YZ, CT\ST DAX and yes Yamaha LS2 100cc i had 4 of and the big brother RD250, and XS400,1 XT 250 and XT500 and one DT250 ..and many many more, Husqvarna 380 .Suzuki Ac50 and TS100ER, Kawasaki KE100, Tempo Taifun 175,,and many more.. BUT the DAX is the one in my heart
Damn Harley Davidson (on the brink of Bankruptcy due to poor performance and high cost) lobbied the US Government to slap a 100% tariff on Japanese Bikes in the early 1980’s. My Kawasaki 650 that I bought NEW in 1980 for $1600 was in 1983 costing $3200! Bikers still bought Japanese bikes!
The tariff was for motorcycles competing with Harley. 750 cc and above. Thus Imported 750s became 700s in 1984. It lasted about 2 years if memory serves.
The Honda logo is wrong, the "H" logo is for car, Honda moto logo is the wing. It seems to me the documentary was put together by someone who doesn't know motorcycles and he just slapped together an AI script and some old videoclips, mostly with no relation with the script. Still nice to watch actually, at least because it's really well spoken, and even a non-native English language watcher can easily understand it without subtitles.
No mention of any Trail , enduro or Motocross bikes it's almost as if they didn't exist. And I think I spotted what was said to be a 1969 TS 125 , but it actually looked more like a 2000 and something Husqvarna.
yea had a friend that bought one of those kwaka 750 2-strokes he fitted new gasket /seal on carburate head ports kicked it into life and it shot to full revs yea it was scary it was insane it would not turn off with the key had to pull the plug leads off
No mention of any off-road models? These companies also revolutionized dirt bike racing worldwide initially with their 2-strokes and later with 4-stroke technology.
Harley had a 40 year head start, and squandered it...first Harley Bike in 1903 We could have a Harley-Davidson Sport Bike, and competitive MX Bikes if Harley wasn't so Hard-Headed, and Rigid to a fault...Hell, Triumph now has an MX Bike that Qualifies in Supercross.
That was so inaccurate and painful to watch. It's not a zee, it's a zed. Photos and videos of the wrong bikes. AI narration is just awful. Did anyone proof read this or watch it before posting it?
Somebody dragged up a bunch of old footage and added AI narration to it? What a bunch of garbage. I didn't make it to the 20 min mark... and should have left much earlier. The mismatch of images to narration was the first clue but after that it just started getting stupid. Piss off to The Internet and "anyone" that thinks they can just pump out this garbage to people hoping they'll believe it. I was really hoping for a "complete documentary", having spent most of my 60 years on motorcycles, most of them Japanese and mostly in racing. Instead, I got a face full of recycled, monetized garbage. Major thumbs down. Don't waste your time if you're hoping to learn something.
Factually incorrect in so many ways ( example jarno sarrinen was the knee dragger not robertsroberts copied him )Plus much more...PS ABS IS DANGEROUS ON MOTORCYCLES
Entertaining. A lot of talk about Suzuki but showing Kawasaki models. Good health to all in 2025. Cheers from New Zealand
Bad AI script boring and with way too much repeating facts.😢
Thanks. I won't bother.
The first production motorcycle with double overhead camshafts was the Honda CB450, not the Kawasaki Z1.
A fact,,i so not trust AI
I really enjoyed that.
Thank you.
Merry Christmas ❤
Happy holidays!

@@MartinSage other companies have done similiar. It's actually called business. Protect local markets and secure jobs.
HD going under was fine with me!!! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
is how tariffs works, don`t buy trump

O dear so many inaccuracies. And wrong graphics to the voiceover. Why didnt anybody check this first ? Kawasaki mach the third 🤣
AI got long way to go
Kawasaki memang menjadi andalan brand jepang

I rode a BMW with abs long before Honda's ST ever came out. The industry swaps ideas all the time.
Sounds like the Mt. Fuji ascent race is like our Pikes Peak in the U.S.
Awesome 🥰😍👍🎅🎄🙏⛪️🙏🎄🎅
Thanks 🤗 ,

Utility lands are a slippery slope if they ETB tapped. Staying on curve is as imperative as making land drops.
Put together like a 3rd form essay.
Complete with inaccuracies.
Defiantly a C-
Defiantly?
😂😂
Photos of the first Kawasaki clearly show a 4 stroke engine yet the narration claims it is a 2 stroke.
No mention of any off-road models? These companies also revolutionized dirt bike racing worldwide initially with their 2-strokes and later with 4-stroke technology.
Min. 49:52 - the GSX-R 750 is air / oil cooled!
Harley had a 40 year head start, and squandered it...first Harley Bike in 1903

Good dialogue but pity videos and photos didn’t keep up
Min. 50:29 this is a Triumph
Min. 51:16 ABS is a development of BMW
They rode their own Harley Davidsons produced in a nationalised Japanese Harley Davidson factory
I thought this was going to be a gift . Turned out to be a grift .
And then i had to layer down
Mach the third 😂😂😂

AI sucks

AI crap. With a lot of nice photos.
Factually incorrect in so many ways ( example jarno sarrinen was the knee dragger not robertsroberts copied him )Plus much more...PS ABS IS DANGEROUS ON MOTORCYCLES
Rubbish Ai production with irrelevant photos and incorrect time lines. Please stop ruining what knowledge still exists … for what
"Mach, the three"..???? .what a load of lazy bot generated crap. zzzzz
if you cant make a better documentary than this ai created rubbish then its time to close your channel
