When looking for web notes the simplest thing to check for is above the word 'ONE' on the back of the $1 bill, specifically a small single digit above the 'E' in 'ONE'. When Silver Linings gentleman was showing the samples (10:36 time stamp) that small digit ('4' in this case) was present but was not pointed out. Web notes are REALLY difficult to find. I have been searching for years - (20 thousand plus notes) - and have found only a single one.
I inherited sum old Coins and notes. The paper bills weren't preserved making them worthless. Take a look at the 4 videos I uploaded yesterday. They are under 2 mins.
I'm a cashier in a busy convenience store so I get to see a lot of bills and I found a dollar bill recently with five 8's in a row in a row in the serial number...just that many 8's in a row it kind of messes with your 👀 👁...five of a kind are worth money too
How and where do you post bills online? I have quite a few bills to post, but just don't know how to post them. I have some birthday notes and a few rare star notes( 2 dollar bill and 20 dollar bill) and quite a few other bills.
It's funny how a lot of people that make videos and jus a lot of people in general. Think that the only way to figure out if u have a web note. Is the year. Which is a big thing. I agree with that. But everyone always thinks the back tells u. Of that number being placed differently. Well.. what ur looking at. Is ur plate number. Which also is a plate number Infront of the bill. On a web note. The numbers were the same. Because it was in a roll and not a sheet. But if u look at the plate number in front. It'll look basic. Jus do more research to the ppl that read this. Dont believe all u hear. Cuz there can actually b more that's not being said
Yes, the year is a big factor of potentially finding a web note. Knowing that they only were printed in 3 of the 27 Series so far is valuable to narrow down searching for them. Yes, a web note is marked differently on both the front and back. On the front of a web note, there is nothing in the upper left corner, and only a number in the lower right corner. The reverse will have the number above the E in ONE.
A web note is a bill that was printed using continuous rolls of paper rather than by sheets. They tried it out for a little while but it did not end up working well so they stopped. Overall they are rare now and can be more valuable.
