I appreciate your content. I am learning more with each new episode. We plan on buying in 2025 and I am learning what we want and don’t want in a RV. We have a 2024 F150 STX 2wd 2.7TT crewcab to tow with. Max towing is 7,500. It will be Mrs RKS and me traveling with Coco the corgi
Yo, Unka Nerd and all of the awesome members of the "Nerd Herd"...a very, VERY Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Happy Quanza, Happy Holidays or whatever you celebrate.👍 ...from Doc, the old mofo from the Great White North of southern Ontario, Canada 🎅🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🎄🟥🍁🟥... and to all an equally amazing New Year !.....
Love the layout especially with the recliners and the fold out sofa is great. I personally would get rid of the dinette and add a bigger pantry and a desk and get rid of the dollar store curtains and use black out roller shades other than that really awesome. Thanks Uncle Josh 👍
Lots of seating and the couch with the bed option. Huge plus. Appreciate you! We got our last trailer because of a video you did. Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄😊😊 😊😊😊
I really like this! Is there no outdoor kitchen? Not crazy about floor grates but overall this is on my list! I liked how you pointed out why there are two different types of stairs! I never would have thought of that. Road mode is good too. I know this layout isn't for everyone. We like it because it's mainly 2 adults and 2 dogs who go 99% of the time. Our kids are older and go very rarely with us. The walk through bathroom doesn't bother me, I like it closer to the bedroom lol. Ty for all the videos!
Thank you again! Really appreciate the close slide walk through! With kids being able to go to the bathroom is a necessity 😁 Keep rocking! Merry Christmas!🙂 Thanksss Nerd🤘
A lack of TV doesn’t bother us. We haven’t had a TV even at home for over 20 years. We just don’t watch TV. We aren’t hermits - we use our phones for streaming Netflix, etc. I told a little kid at church that we don’t have a TV and she asked “how do you eat dinner?” 😂
Love the flat look of this camper! The living room is great. The storge is good. I think the walk though bathroom is not my thing. The bedroom is good. The 2 thing I wish it had is a xl vet fan and slide side windows. Overall for a weekend camper it’s great. Thank you!
One additional plus of higher ceilings is kinda hidden. If you spend a week +in one of these, spend a rainy weekend or are stuck inside for whatever reason 😷🤒 in a shorter ceiling’d RV, you’re going cabin crazy way faster than in a taller RV like this. More overhead room helps in so many ways as it just feels more “normal.” 😊
If I ccould change things I would flip flop dinette & kitchen.. This way dinette would be on campside & you can add the TV above the dinette. Seating would be in same area & have the TV so much closer for all the seating. Or still flip flip but instead of dinette, you add a long bar with barstools with big window facing campsite.. TV above so you have more room in back area & TV would be close to all seating
The color combinations are fine. I do like the recliners although they’re too far away from the entertainment area or the television it’s always nice to have the option on a rainy day.I Don’t like the foot floor cheese graders for vents…boo to the radius shower and as usual, needs a king bed option… seems like the Wildwood and the Keystone themed designs fit my needs better… as usual nerd guy great review…..Happy Holidays to all
I watched the Freedom Express review posted today. Im amazed at how that one is shorter and yet seems to have incorporated way more storage. I feel that this one is sorely lacking storage.
@JoshtheRVNerd i feel like more than one seat set plus an eating arrangement is more than enough for a couples camper. Not being able to store food for more than 4 days seems daunting 😁
Merry Christmas Uncle Josh and family. 🎅🎁❄️⛄️🎄🍬🎂🫎 There's no window next to the sofa/sleeper which is needed for air flow! 😮 Again, Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 🎁 ❤ your friend, Auntie Didi ❤
Super cute, love the cloth, hubby has issues with leather and pleather. Would be great if they put a fireplace in that spot nest to the dinette, cupboards that thin and tall are hard to fill, radius shower and vents in the floor :/ I love the layout otherwise!
Love the sofa and recliners that provide a comfortable place to sit for 5 people👍just wish they didn't cut corners with no TV for cold, rainy days and nights, and a bathroom with a cheap plastic toilet😢and no vent fan🤢
No bath fan is a catastrophic miss. You NEED that fan to pull shower moisture out of the camper, not to mention the fajita Friday problem! Other than that, very nice unit. Merry Christmas #Nerdherd
Wow, almost tempted to put this behind my Ram Eco Diesel. Unfortunately loaded to capacity I would be at 98% of it's capability. I do absolutely love the fabric seating. In addition to pleather creating disposable furniture, I also have 2 rescue feral cats. They have claws, and I'm too much a softy to get their claws removed. They can destroy pleather in minutes, yet they aren't as attracted to fabric. Although I'm sure they'll need to have alternative scratching posts or mats. Not an issue so much in this episode, but really would appreciate it if you would include info on how TV's swing and tilt. I work online and additionally am heavily invested in stock market. I have a need to work at a desk, and be able to see TV easily. I'm sure others have same need. Thanks!
Does the weight of the propane and the batteries need to come from the 1,047 cargo carrying capacity or is that calculated into the weight of the trailer?
Hello Josh, Merry Christmas! If you get a chance to get to the new '25 Cherokee Grey Wolf 20RDSE Black Label edition, it would be great to know your opinion on that one. Especially in direct comparison to the regular 20RDSE. It's been a very popular floor plan for many years so far. And it's awesome they did the Black Label version of it. That's exactly what I was dreaming about to finally decide to submit my order. I'd like to know if you support my decision or not. I'm especially happy to hear any negatives that you're aware of, or if you think there might be a better similar alternatives. Thanks in advance! Best Regards, Dennis
@JoshtheRVNerd They are, it also has its own page on the Forest River website. With no numbers specified yet though. But I already saw one for sale in Wisconsin

You’ll want to stay nicely below that 7500 - and shorter will be better
@@JoshtheRVNerdagreed. At least that’s what I’ve been learning through your channel!

This is super nice, one complaint is no outdoor refrigerator. Other then that its perfect!! I actually love the open recliners, thanks nerd! 👏🏼
Well Ty!

No camp kitchen on this one as it turns out
@JoshtheRVNerd Bummer! Thank you for letting me know! I think it could still be a contender!
Love the single chairs with the side table in between
It’s super classic
I like the combination of steps.
Ok
Love the Recliners! Would prefer Fridge in slide and more kitchen counter space..I would consider it then. Really cute! 😊
Try this! m.ruclips.net/video/QGw2mVUs-BA/видео.html

Hahaha
Tried and true floorplan. I like. Merry Christmas Josh! 😊
Same to you and yours
Very nice! And yes, thanks for showing rode mode in your videos. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Thanks! Merry Christmas to you too!
As always, awesome video! Merry Christmas!

Yeah absolutely
It’s like 7ft vs 8ft ceilings in your house
I hope you asked Santa for singing lessons. Thanks Josh happy christmas and mary new year
😆
I'm in love. But it's 2 feet to long for my storage space. This one is now on my radar
Merry Christmas Josh

Happy new year to you and your family .

Ty sir
How about putting some netting on the open storage above the bed?
Could work
I watched the Freedom Express review posted today. Im amazed at how that one is shorter and yet seems to have incorporated way more storage. I feel that this one is sorely lacking storage.
You’re not wrong. This model prioritizes open living space and seating over extra storage.

Super cute, love the cloth, hubby has issues with leather and pleather. Would be great if they put a fireplace in that spot nest to the dinette, cupboards that thin and tall are hard to fill, radius shower and vents in the floor :/ I love the layout otherwise!
In the past they had this model more heavily outfitted with things like fireplaces

Yeah not great to push the boundaries that much. Great you know those stats
🎉#NerdHerd
Can you sit in the slide while its closed? You forgot to mention it :D
Not in this one
Does the weight of the propane and the batteries need to come from the 1,047 cargo carrying capacity or is that calculated into the weight of the trailer?
Yes. Anything that's not the base RV itself.
SOME mfgs include the weight of empty LP bottles. Some don't. Their tags on the RVs clarify
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thank you.

Haven’t seen one in black label. Are they FINALLY offering that

Nice layout. Floor vents in front of the kitchen are a bummer.
👍🏻
I am looking to buy a camper to live in, so yes, I am looking for a TV. But having an area where I can put one is fine sing I already own one.
Thanks nerd
My pleasure!
Merry Christmas...NERD
Ho ho ho! 😊
Don’t like the floor plan.
What do you dislike about it?
