For some reason every in my band hates this song but I love it
Thank you for declaring your love for this song. I myself am very musical but was never an instrumentalist. In fact, i was thrown out of the bathroom for hanging out with the musicians.
I have a vision of the song, played by a marching high school band, with a small parade float featuring a drim kit, And the marching drummers would encircle the float as they marched. And then, when the solo came, the parade would halt and all the drummers would turn toward the inner circle of the float. And play along with him/her. ( Girls are great Drummers too.) It might even be better than that parade scene in "Ferris Bueller's Day off."
As a 1st trumpet player, it took me 1 month to learn all the fingers fast
